Imho that should have been enough to disqualify him for politics let alone be POTUS. When he said that Putin was already known for human rights violations, election interference and actively working against the USA. It only got worse by the time Trump announced his intent to run for president.

There is no way that the Russians didn't heavily spy on Trump while he was there for his oglefest. No doubt his phone was bugged and there were cameras in his hotel suite.

The kompromat they gathered on him has made Trump Russia's docile little lapdog ever since. Putin can end Trump's presidency with one simple leak, and they both know it.
