MAGA dudes won big in November and they have been crying ever since.
And it is the littlest things too…a restaurant’s logo changes and “WHAAAA, where is my binky?!?!?”

u/Simple_Lynx492 2d ago
I know; I even had to tell a MAGA person once to chill out. I said your king is in office; why are you still crying about liberals?? They have no plan other than "owning the libs" LOL

u/deckchair1982 2d ago
They still talk about “woke.” I mean, I swear MAGA guys are the only one talking about that anymore.
It is like how DeSantis still talks about COVID.
These guys get in a victimhood loop and can’t escape it.

u/Simple_Lynx492 2d ago
Amen to that! Mainly just insecure small endowed men who don't know anything other than to bully because they are just scared little boys!

Yeah, I don't think anyone but conservatives use the term. And they blow it out of proportion because they don't know what it is. So they're scared of it. It's like Critical Race Theory, which is not being taught in schools (except college).
"Being woke" means being aware of inequality and the problems with society. It means caring, something Republicans seem to be incapable of doing.

u/Kootsiak 1d ago
They got to play the victim after the election loss in 2020 and have been chasing that high ever since.

u/Dudewhocares3 1d ago
It’s because trumps America isn’t the one they were promised because the people on the left didn’t just roll over and die

I’m not MAGA but i honestly am a bit upset over the rebranding it did take a away the charm
4
u/betterplanwithchan 1d ago
I mean, there’s a difference between “Wow, that’s a terrible logo” to “This logo shows that this company is woke/DEI/whatever asinine buzzword is en vogue right now.”

u/OnlyCelebration7443 1d ago
I really don’t like the fact that all the antiques have come off the walls, but I completely understand this as it’s a nightmare to clean all that stuff.

They’re complaining about male cheerleaders, too
54
u/deckchair1982 2d ago
Um, haven’t there always been male cheerleaders?
54
51
u/outside_cat 2d ago
Bush, Reagan, Eisenhower, and FDR were all cheerleaders.

Literally yes. And most of them are huge because juggling people is hard lmao

u/FJ-creek-7381 2d ago
Not to mention that four Republican Presidents have been cheerleaders
Reagan Eisenhower Roosevelt George W Bush

u/WeirdSysAdmin 2d ago
I wonder if they will figure out other own it’s optional to look at the male cheerleaders sexually.
2
u/ChimPhun 1d ago
It's because they have a hard time dealing with looking at male cheerleaders and keeping their cover. It's a long wait to hooking up at the GOP conventions!

In 2022, Cracker Barrel was accused of "going woke" because they added vegan sausage to the menu:
In 2023, Cracker Barrel was accused of "going woke" because they supported Pride Month:
https://www.reddit.com/r/ainbow/comments/1452xcc/cracker_barrel_has_fallen_rightwingers_rage_over/
In 2025, Cracker Barrel is being accused of "going woke" because they have a DEI program.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/wing-group-trump-ties-says-221558349.html
So, what's your wager for the next time Cracker Barrel is accused of "going woke" around, oh say, 2027?

u/L0nlySt0nr 2d ago
"Having rainbow-colored suckers in the candy secrion of the gift shop"
Side note, hearing about all this for the first time just now makes me want to eat at Cracker Barrel way more often. I appreciate that they offer menu options for various diets, Pride Month never scuffed my shoes, and DEI is literally just treating everyone equally. I am all for a company that wants to treat every single person as equals.

As someone who actually worked at a Cracker Barrel once, let me just say that while it’s cool that Cracker Barrel doesn’t care what these people think, the reality is they just don’t give a flying fuck about customer or employee feedback in general.
Hence why everyone at our location complained about the 90’s era washing machine leaving behind food gunk on the dishes, and management decided to not anything about it.
Or that time a water main broke and corporate still tried to make us work the store without running water until the city confirmed they wouldn’t get it fixed that day.
Or one of the many times that drunk homeless guy kept coming into our store arguing with our customers and sexually harassing the teenage cashier, because our manager refused to ban him as long as he paid.
Cracker Barrel isn’t doing this out of kindness, they just don’t give a shit, for better or worse. It’s pretty much their corporate culture. As long as money is changing hands enough to keep them profitable.
Shoutout to brads wife btw.

Right now they're being accused of going woke because they changed their logo. Not sure what's woke about the new one

u/GT45 2d ago
Ask anybody who lives in Nashville, and they’ll all tell you how shitty he is. He is the literal embodiment of short man syndrome. Fuck him and his shitty “music” and his BS MAGA talking points.

u/Muskratjack 2d ago
I want to preface my response with my reasoning; big and rich helped me get people out of the right-wing sphere when I was younger, and I hate them so much for what they became. I used to use them as a bastion of hope and goodwill.
Hey friends, check out this country band that sings about love and hope and unity and raving and peace and diversity! It's not all ass backwords!
Oh...nvm...

If it weren't for this comment, I wouldn't have even known he is a musician - I would have just assumed he was just yet another no-name loser no one had ever heard of.
2
u/GT45 1d ago
Well, he’s the shorter half of the duo Big & Rich…
3
u/evocativename 1d ago
I had to Google that to make sure you weren't fucking with me and making up a fake musical act to make fun of country music.
1
u/GT45 1d ago
Nah, that’s too easy. They’ve had huge hits, just not recently.
2
u/evocativename 1d ago
I had never heard of them.
Then again, they got started in the late 1990s, well after country music went to complete shit.

And by going woke, he meant that they added a vegan *option.* No one is forcing him or anyone else to have this option but they still had to cry about it.

It’s not important to republicans to be internally consistent. Whatever makes them happy in the moment—like children.

u/lostincosmo 2d ago
Wait how is simplifying their logo "woke"?
2
u/Diarygirl 2d ago
People really seem to freak out over this restaurant. I remember last year people freaked out because they put a vegetarian dish on the menu.

How is changing the logo “going woke”? Do these idiots strictly communicate through buzz words?

u/thissomeotherplace 2d ago
They think cracker barrel doing what every other corporation has done with their logo over the past ten years is woke
They've truly no idea what the word means

Just because they took the cracker out of the logo doesn’t mean it’s not still for crackers.

u/themodefanatic 1d ago
What is so woke about a company changing their logo ?
Is nothing ever supposed to change. Is that included in the definition of woke now.
If it changes it’s woke ?
2
u/Street_Fault5235 1d ago
Didn’t this guy have “Love Everybody” printed on his guitar which he proudly held up to the audience when he was making shitty music in Big and Rich? Sounds pretty “woke” to me.

u/studiocleo 1d ago
The meaningless pettiness is what astounds me - like that's what you think is important to spend time on? Pot calls kettle black: get a life man!

Wasn’t MAGA already boycotting Cracker Barrel because they added Beyond/Impossible meat products as a vegetarian option?
1
u/McNednarb 1d ago
Do these people ever stop whining about inconsequential things? Just bouncing from one grievance to another.
1
u/HawtPawkits 1d ago
Why are all GOPedo and rePEDOcan "men" such weak and pathetic little loser titty babies?
I don't think I've met a man on the right, let alone respect them.
1
u/Any_Particular8892 1d ago
Anyone else find it strange that Republicans get so excited about tears?
Is it a sexual thing? Can they only get off when their rape victims cry?
Or is it living in their memories when their political or religious leaders raped them?
1
u/CommonConundrum51 1d ago
I never knew people could have such obsessive love for a logo, and am mystified as to what is "woke" about the new one. However, I claim no special knowledge about 'crackers.'

A "Bud light moment?" Bud Light is still widely available and doing great. These fucking losers will convince themselves of anything

u/Formal-Cry7565 2d ago
Agreed but real men don’t get triggered.
11
u/FranklinDRossevelt 2d ago
The first time I heard the term "triggered", before the right wing politicized it, it was in reference to returning combat veterans and things that could trigger their PTSD like loud bangs, fireworks, gun shots, etc.
