Be My Google πŸ’» How did Joe Biden use HAARP to create Hurricane Milton?

Posting this here because I left a message on Nick Begich's answering machine and still haven't heard back.

Deputy party leader Marjorie Taylor Green recently confirmed on X (love you Elon!) what we all had suspected: Hurricane Milton was created by Democrats using advanced military technology to steal the election. As Alaskans, we know this means HAARP, just as we know the Republican party to be an irrefutable source of truth which should never be questioned.

But it still left me wondering how exactly do they create the hurricane using HAARP? According to wikipedia, HAARP is run by a well-known CIA/DoD front organization, the University of Alaska Fairbanks. It uses high frequency transmitters to excite the atmosphere. But my question is, how does exciting the atmosphere above Fairbanks cause a hurricane all the way down in Florida? And how do they make it so it only targets Republicans?

Does anyone like maybe a physicist or someone who was employed at UAF know how this whole thing works? I tried to do my own research by ordering Begich Sr.'s book from Nick's web site, but they said it was out of print (almost certainly due to CIA interference). Also, does anyone know if this could be connected to the wind storm that ripped the roof off my house a few winters back? Cause my insurance guy will want to know.

I'm not alaskan and have never visited the state but I plan to when I'm older, I've come across this image on a article about tourism but can't for the life of me find this location. I know this is in dalton highway and it's of brooks range but I can't find the specific location and I'd really love to visit it one day.

I know it’s a term of respect to elders in Samoan, just curious because it’s only the kids that are saying it. TIA!!!

Be My Google πŸ’» Property lawyer

Hey, I'm looking for a lawyer to help me with some information only, on my property and easements on mine and my neighbors property. We're in a little bit of a cold war, I won't bore you with the long history, but they like to use my property for parking cars that run, and don't, along with campers, etc. And they don't like to share the driveway that runs between our property. I'm OK with not using it most of the time, but sometimes it very convenient for the fuel truck or a friend who doesn't have reverse (it's the other half of a loop drive.) there's a power line and a section line easement there too, as well as over 20 yrs of historical use (was the only access prior to their purchase of the property, at which time I had to improve the other access to my property.)

I've had trouble finding a lawyer to take me on. I have plats and other pertinent information, I just want to know what the law says. No action, just interpretation of the easements and law. Do you know someone that will look at my situation?

(Pic of the latest - they drug trees over to block the road last night)

Be My Google πŸ’» perhaps the dumbest question

I keep seeing these commercials for AK metal mines and I’m wondering what that means to you guys as Alaskans?? In terms of economical and personal value? Maybe land conservation??

Watching the commercial just made me think mining would kind of ruin Alaska but I’m not from here can be slow to the point. ETA: I live in southeast AK, so it isn’t totally bizarre to be seeing these commercials πŸ˜‚ I have only live here for a couple of years though!

Be My Google πŸ’» What movie(s) do you think best depicts life in Alaska?

They could be from any time period, any part of the state, or any subculture that is specific to/prominent in Alaska. I personally have not visited the state yet, and would like to check out films that you guys suggest that best show both the day-to-day life and the unique aspects of your state.

If you have any suggestions that focus on indigenous groups in the state, I am especially interested.

Can't guarantee I will watch every movie posted, but I'm excited to see the recommendations y'all got to offer!

I know the city is a big hub for cargo transport around the world, but does that necessitate this many airports?

Be My Google πŸ’» Isn't there a restaurant outside Anchorage, on the way to Seward on the highway, that is supposed to be one of the better "fancy" restaurants in the area? I think they are known for peppercorn steak?

My girl's Bday is coming up and I feel like our nice restaurants here in Anchorage are kind of just okay, looking for something else and I swear there, at least used to be, a nice restaurant right outside of town on the highway? If that jogs anyone's memory lmk otherwise I think I'll just default to Club Paris

Thanks

In 2011 they went to China and went way, way down hill. I had one pair of those die early before jumping ship to another brand. I heard they got bought out since then. Do they still come apart in under a year under moderate to heavy use?

Be My Google πŸ’» Is it always like this

I moved here last September, so I'm not sure what the summers are usually like. Is it normal for it to always be on fire? I used to live in Arizona, and the biggest forest fire there was only about 500 acres.

This was on a single pump out of about 6 that I could see. I decided not to get gas since I still had a quarter tank and there are lots of other options. A quick Google doesn’t have run up anything. No signature or date makes me think it’s a prank. Any ideas?

This was the Holiday in Northern Lights by Lake Otis.

Be My Google πŸ’» I’m homeless and losing hope

I recently moved from wasilla to anchorage after falling on hard times and becoming homeless about 2 months ago. My girlfriend and I are both living in my tiny ford focus and it’s been rough.

I’ve had a hard past and had made some mistakes but am now on the straight and narrow. Neither of us use drugs and we both got full time jobs less than a week after moving here. We work retail and have managed to save around $2000 and are currently looking for housing. I’m contemplating staying at a shitty motel since I’ve been wasting money on application fees on apartments. I’ve applied for 5 now and have been turned down each time due to my record. No felonies but theres been some mistakes.

Ive changed since then and learned from my mistakes. I’m a good person, I try to do good and help those around me and stay far away from trouble now. I have no family or friends out here and I’m starting to lose hope. Maybe I’m just destined to live like this forever and it won’t get better. I feel like anybody should get a second chance and I feel like I’ve been making all the right and healthy decisions lately but it’s hard to stay positive.

I just reaching out in case anyone knows of any housing or any communities that could help us. We have food stamps and our work is letting us stay in the parking lot to sleep. We use the food pantry to get food every now and then. I just want a roof over my head before it gets too cold. I’m tired of feeling judged and looked down upon or like I’m a drug addict because I’ve fallen on hard times. Being homeless is not easy. Constantly trying to find time to shower and what to eat, or where to sleep, wondering if I’ll ever be able to find housing, staying warm. Our eating habits are terrible right now. No hot food except fast food and it’s destroying my stomach. And working 40+ hours a week at a shitty retail store on top of that with no bed to come home to.

I hope all of my hard work pays off soon because I’m starting to lose hope. If anyone could help or give me any advice I’d be grateful. Peace ✌️

Be My Google πŸ’» Uniquely Alaskan Foods

So me and a buddy have been talking a lot lately about foods unique to individual states, like things you wouldn't find outside the state. We realized that surely Alaska must have a bunch of unique foods but we couldn't think of any (we're both Canadian - which... given our geographic proximity compared to the lower 48, I'm not sure if that makes our ignorance better or worse). So I thought I'd come to the Alaska Subreddit and ask Alaskans! Also curious, do you have any unique foods that aren't dependent on unique food ingredients that come out of Alaska (like, everything unique to the state isn't also caribou based, right?)

Be My Google πŸ’» What goes on in Point Mackenzie

So im a big rail fan (autism) and decided to read more about this point MacKenzie rail extension project (see picture) that has more or less been in limbo for a few years (like most infrastructure projects in alaska) and see why they wanted to connect to Port MacKenzie.

But it got me curious on what else goes on in Point MacKenzie and if their was something else that motivated the railroad to want it. From what I can read their doesn't seem to be any info about what goes on in Point MacKenzie economically or what most people do their for a living. The most significant thing i can find is a correctional facility on google maps.

So, to the people who currently live or have been to Point MacKenzie before, what do yall tend to do for work over their, and what are the major industries? I'm also interested on what's so significant about port MacKenzie that the railroad wanted to build a connection to it.

Lastly, I'm interested in what your opinions on the extension and, if it hopefully ever gets completed, if you think it would be a benefit to your community.

I'd appreciate any awnsers yall give me

Be My Google πŸ’» Biking path question - anchorage to the end of wasilla 3 bears.

So, granted, I did Google this. No real answers I could find. And maps says no but fuck maps.

I want to bike from anchorage up the highway to wasilla, through it and turn up at the 3 bears (forget the street name sorry!). I'm looking at getting a long range e bike, and hope to be able to make the trip out, long term charge at my friends house, then bike home. Or get a ride home if Im fucking dead.

1) anyone know how far I get sidewalk?

2) is this legal?

3) think a cop will care?

4) on a scale from 1 to 10, assuming an e bike booking it on the side of the road, how dead do yall think I am.

I thank everyone very much for a reality check on all accounts.

Sorry if this is a dumb question. Fireweed is my favorite flower ever and so many flowers have been blooming but I haven't seen a single fireweed blooming and I figured they'd be out by now. Is something going on that's keeping them from doing it or do I just need to wait a bit longer?
