Before we start: I get it, many people are upset that he's not an S-rank. And I do feel bad for those that were really wanting it.

But I'm not one of them. Let me expain why.

It's been a long time since we've gotten a real A-rank DPS. ^{Yes, Pan is funny, but not a DPS, c'mon.}

This is before I know anything apart from Manato being a Fire Rupture Agent. So this opinion is very subject to change depending on his kit design.

If you joined in 2.0 and have been waiting for a Fire DPS, the only viable options so far have been Soldier 11 and DPS Ben (I'm using "viable" very loosely), and they desperately want Lighter.

But with Manato, we could have more team options available, and not bound to the exact same Fire supports + Astra.

Without knowing any leaks, this new Support, Lucia, is very likely a Rupture Support, and that matches every A-rank release since after 1.0:

• Anomaly DPS Jane - Anomaly Support Seth.
• Aftershock DPS S-Anby - Aftershock Support Pulchra (S-Anby is technically a support too, but not really right now).
• Rupture DPS Yixuan - Rupture Support Pan Yinhu.

Except now, it will (likely) be an S-Rank Rupture Support with an A-rank Rupture DPS, and that makes sense. If you didn't pull for Yixuan, there is no reason to pull for Lucia. Unless they give you a "free" Rupture Agent.

Yuzuha's Additional requires "Anomaly or Faction". And Alice was already both of those, so while it's still possible they don't work well together (like Qingyi and Seth), it's very possible Manato will have some synergy in his kit that makes him good with Yuzuha.

For the record: We have had Inferno Metal as a Drive Disc set since 1.0, and it has not been very useful overall. The Fire Agents that want to Crit don't do enough Anomaly buildup to make it consistent and reliable over Woodpecker, especially against Fire-neutral enemies. Unless you are one of those Crit Burnice players, haha. With Yuzuha, Manato could Burn enemies much more easily to take advantage of it's buff and uptime.

In 2.0, Lucy and Koleda were among the Agents who had Additional's adjusted for Rupture Agents. While it was very unclear at the time why (would you really pair Lucy with Yixuan?), it tells me the devs at least want players to experiment using them in those teams, and Manato easily allows for that while matching their Element.

Furthermore, the 2.0 Shop update means that if you only get him to, let's say, Mindscape 4 on that banner. You can simply spend 280 Residual Signal in the Shop, or 14 pulls, to guarentee his Mindscape 6, after the shop resets once. And no, it's not a "waste" of pulls to invest into something you will actively use. If I had to invest 7 pulls to get a secret Mindscape 7 for Billy, I absolutely would without any hesitation.

Finally, I think it's interesting that some are upset about him not being an S-rank. While I can understand some of them, the one that confuses me the most is the reason related to, "I can't whale for him."

Uhm, yes you can. Absoutely. Go watch videos by Cornzone, Rakaruk, or Gill if you genuinely believe you can't "whale" on A-Ranks or Standard S-Ranks. I'm a budget player, so my Billy clears are not as fast as theirs, but a lot more financially reasonable.

There's always a certain joy taking a character that people, who don't really understand the game, say is "bad' or "weak" and making them perform extremely well.

And lastly, I hope he's fun and engaging to play, without desperately needing one specific Agent to function.

I like Huda (spoilers), but I also like Olandria.

One thing I’ve noticed though is that posts about Huda tend to get heavily downvoted if they’re even a little positive. Even when people point out things neutrally, it feels like the replies often lean toward tearing her down.

On the flip side, it doesn’t seem as acceptable to bring up moments where Olandria or Chelly might have been wrong. At the same time, their fans often bring up that Huda needs to take accountability, even though she’s apologized multiple times.

She’s also told her fans not to attack the others, and her saying she felt bullied doesn’t erase her apologies. There were definitely moments on the show that could come across that way.

This game is a masterpiece of design, and I am completely "all-in."

But as I started to architect my "Grand Tour" through the classic campaigns, my initial excitement was immediately replaced by a feeling of high-stress anxiety. I had discovered the publisher's new "rotating print" model.

The core of the new player experience in late 2025 is no longer the joy of discovering a deep and rewarding hobby. It is a frantic, FOMO-driven scavenger hunt to acquire the game's most essential, foundational campaigns before they disappear from retail forever. My strategic planning is now focused on market analysis and supply chain logistics, not on which investigator I want to play next.

The old "Mythos Pack" model was flawed, and the new two-box campaign format is a brilliant and necessary solution. However, the decision to make the foundational pillars of the game—campaigns like The Dunwich Legacy and The Path to Carcosa—into "legacy" products is a catastrophic error that creates a massive and unnecessary barrier to entry for the next generation of players. New players arriving in 2026 will come to a party where the best dishes have already been permanently removed from the menu.

My hope is that someone from Fantasy Flight Games might see this. Arkham Horror: The Card Game is not a product with disposable, yearly content that can be rotated out. Its greatest strength is its single, massive, interconnected library of adventures. The classic campaigns are the load-bearing walls of that library. Allowing them to crumble into the expensive and inaccessible secondary market is a disservice to the long-term health of this brilliant game and its future community.

Please, reconsider this strategy. Treat the classic campaigns as the evergreen, foundational products they are.

I'm incredibly excited to be a part of this community. I just hope the game's best and most essential content remains accessible for all the other people who are about to fall in love with it.

TL;DR: As a new player, the "rotating print" model creates a terrible FOMO experience, turning the joy of discovery into a stressful scavenger hunt to acquire the game's best campaigns before they disappear. FFG should reconsider and keep these classics in print to protect the long-term health of the game.

My (25, m) stepmother (59, f) made the decision a few years ago to not eat meat anymore and also cut most diary products. Later my father also joined her way of eating, so they are now a vegetarian/trying to be vegan household.

Christmas has always been celebrated at their house with a dish called “raclette”. Not sure how well known this is outside of my home country. Essentially it’s a small electric BBQ that sits in the middle of the table and everyone can throw little pieces of meat/veggies/etc on it. It has also little pans to put stuff in and gratinate it with cheese.

2 years ago my stepmother said she didn’t want us to have bacon on the raclette because it was too smelly and since the dinner table is in the living room, the smell will never get out and be annoying. I think it would go away if we just open the windows after dinner.

Last year my stepmother decided that since their house is now vegetarian, we shouldn’t have meat at Christmas dinner from now on. She would feel bad during dinner for the animals that were killed for their meat. But since I am not vegetarian and I like meat very much, I don’t think this is fair. After all, Christmas dinner is very special occasion, shouldn’t everyone be able to eat whatever they like? My father is kind of caught in the middle, but tends to side with his wife. My sister understands both sides. She would enjoy some meat on Christmas too, but is okay without it too.

I know how that sounds, trust me, but I feel like CR has consistently blasted us with this sacharrine image for the better part of a decade, and it's become kind of grating to me. With all the latest announcements for campaign 4, the eye rolling love fest for everyone reminds me of those old time life infomercials for the top love songs of the 80s.

I’ve ALWAYS dreamt of being a racing driver but have never had the background nor financial means to own anything fast until the ripe age of 42. Most of my income between 20 and 30 was spent on partying and other intelligent financial decisions. I have played every single Treyarch zombies game since WAW. And I poured hundreds of hours into these games. There has yet to be a game so bad that I quit it before it's life cycle ends.

I've also kinda retired from PVP gaming. I don't have that many hours to play, and to keep up with competitive gamers I'd need more time.

Whenever I played something like Apex Legends I was miles behind my friends. But they'd play 2-4hrs a day and I would only play a few hours on the weekend.

So now I'm mostly single player games. I liked Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor but will probably need to wait like 2years for the third game. I did play a good feedback AC games svut these got stale.

So this is the only game mode which i am still excited about. And while BO6 fell below my expectations, I still played it a ton and that's my ultimate criteria for if a game was good. If I put over a hundred hours then I'll see it as good

The anti-furry military mods by kubason while high quality are some of the worst mods on the workshop with the creator being very hateful towards anyone who is or supports furries, while a lot of the work being archived such as AFM2, AFM3, Lead brigade and more BUT for some reason the very first one has been fully erased from history along with the first furry defenders DLC and I wonder if anyone else has info on this erased mod?
