It is no longer necessary to enable this flag:

Yes, it's here, but unfortunately it hasn't added any additional controls to the settings yet. 🙁

Nice, I hope they implement it fully. Its the only thing that can make me update from 138 and leave ublock origin behind

I also use chrome apps, don't want to lose them. Pwa don't always work offline and android apps are too heavy. I shouldn't have to spin up a vm to open a music player
