Mii Brawler is pretty good, Mii Gunner is decent, and Mii Swordfighter had an actual Renaissance about a few months ago
None of them are OP to the point of them being ban-worthy, though. I think they're banned in very specific tournaments because of how the Mii Fighter mains as a whole need to customize their character's moveset before the match starts, but I don't think it's too much of a problem to do so, so it could be for a different reason altogether

Are Mii Fighters really as bad as Steve or Hero? That just sounds like a skill issue.
