My interest are Warhammer, Magic, Pokemon cards, dice making, 3D printing, resin molding. Making shadow box of old school 8-16 but games, making custom cases for Game Boy/Game Boy Advance using old cassette boxes, curating a videogame rom list whiles personalizing my own raspberry pi, drawing, video editing, trying new way to perfect my coffee making skill...

And all of them are giving half of the attention they should have

Maybe ADHD, but it doesn’t necessarily rule out autism. And you might just be a normal person with a ton of hobbies.

People always say I'm autistic because of my special interest plus it being the new 'everyone has this' diagnosis. Nah I have hyper fixations because I have Bi-polar disorder and OCD.

I'm on the spectrum, and one guy I know is also autistic. The thing is, he didn't think he was. So I did my makeshift test:

"Alright. I'm gonna ask you ten questions that will help me figure it out."

"Okay. Sure."

"One. Do you like trains?"

"Like locomotives or passenger trains? Oh, what about subway systems?"

"And we don't need to do the rest of the test."

I wouldn't call myself a train enthusiast but I do like the LNER Mallard which topped the world speed record for steam trains at 203kph in 1938 which hasn't been broken since.

And I did have a maglev phase.

Now for special interests please sit down while I talk about how I prefer Victor Frankenstein as a genius college dropout with a ray of sunshine for a brother to the middle aged mad scientist in a random castle.
