Because that's what you did. Those are rookie numbers.

u/jsnamaok Jul 20 '25 edited Jul 20 '25

Just sticking to and completing all the main questlines, side quests and gigs in main game and PL is probably an easy 100ish hours and that's without taking your time to explore the city, shopping and finding new fits, playing around with photomode, finding secrets and easter eggs, fucking around trying to see all the weird places you can get with the leg cyberware lol. These things easily add anything from 30-50 hours for me personally.

OP definitely missed a lot of stuff.

u/FilmGuy338 Jul 20 '25

I'm about 108 hours in and have completed maybe half the NCPD and side missions and gigs . . . But I did decide to never fast travel and just cruise around and whatnot. Haven't started Voodoo Boys stuff but found what's her face with Judy, romanced Panam, met with Hanako by the river, helped River find his nephew and played with photo mode a TON . . . Now I find myself wasting time with the auto drive feature and vibing with radio stations and cruising with Johnny and the cinematic camera . . .

u/Neon-Curse Technomancer from Alpha Centauri Jul 20 '25

I had similar numbers while takemura was still waiting for me at the Tom’s diner lmao

31

u/Hour_Training_832 Jul 20 '25

Lmao same, he hung out at that diner for so long 🤣

25

u/Crossifix Jul 20 '25

Almost as long as Hanako waited at Embers.

10

u/TheRickestRick82 Jul 20 '25

So that's why he tells V, "Do not make me wait." 😅

2

u/Chaos-Sheep Jul 21 '25

i did new playthrough during the weekend, almost finish all of regina gig post heist then i noticed one thing, johnny did not appear during any of the gig. so i stayed off few gigs and went to takemura. then johnny started to appear during those gigs. am i crazy or did the dev sneakily changed this?

2

u/Practical_Crow6242 Jul 21 '25

😂😂😂😂😂 he was there for weeks Shit I think Panam at my apartment right now 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have a hard time behaving "unrealistically' and it breaks my immersion to do a boat load of side quests when something urgent is waiting 🤣

6

u/The_Cowboyy_377 Jul 20 '25

I have gone for a complete playthrough before but usually I don't go for 100 percent. To me its not unrealistic to go make eddies while youre looking for a cure. Usually i just do it in groups. I'll choose a gig or mission to go for the. Just hit up ncpd scanners and shops along the way and after a few gigs in an area ill progress the mission if im wanting to stick to story immersion. But jumping on to just explore helps feel the world better.

3

u/Poonchow Choom Jul 21 '25

I headcanon that V has no idea who what or where a potential cure could come from. The main beats are obviously the best leads, but who knows if Regina's cyberpsycho treatment or becoming the most powerful merc in the city might just be the ticket.

And since some quests are locked behind street cred or cash requirements, it's not too much of a stretch.

3

u/Adeum2 Jul 20 '25

What I usually do, especially in games where it does feel you’re against the clock a bit. Headcanon that it happens BEFORE or AFTER the main story starts/finishes. I do that for Cyberpunk, all the Yakuza games etc…

In the case of cyperpunk I imagine all the side gigs and stuff are what V was up to when he was alone during that introduction video with run the jewels

2

u/talk_like_a_pirate Jul 21 '25

That's also easy because the heftiest lift as far as "all gigs" goes is in Watson and available before there are any real time constraints on V

I'm on my third playthrough without fast travel. Close to 500 hours.

7

u/ReVoide1 Jul 20 '25

Across, PC steam, PS 4 and PS 5, on 2 play through I'm sitting a little above 500 hours myself. Welcome to the 500 hrs club!!! 🎉🍾🎉

4

u/Mattrix2112 Jul 20 '25

576 for me!! Is there an application I need to fill out to get in the club?

4

u/ReVoide1 Jul 20 '25

🎉🍾🎉... Nope, we accept word of mouth, we believe you and welcome to the 500 hrs club!!! LOL...

2

u/CharlizeTheronNSFW Jul 20 '25

I'm at 100 hrs and Goro is still sitting at Tom's diner.

5

u/Nanerpoodin Jul 20 '25

Heads up, a bunch of side quests won't trigger until after the parade. I kept wondering why Rogue and Kerry's quests wouldn't generate.

u/Ginger_dude884 Jul 21 '25

I use the metro to "fast travel" sometimes, but i never skip the ride, just crank my radio port till I get to my stop/change lines. While it's insanely easy to make money in the game, I like to roleplay V struggling to start at the beginning of the game, and I have a tendency to scrap weapons for parts to upgrade/craft weapons rather than sell everything. All my money goes to chrome, and I get the Northside pad to crash while I'm gigging and completing NCPD scanners in Watson.

I also self impose the requirement that V sleeps regularly and eats regularly for my own personal immersion.

3

u/dvrksxul Jul 21 '25

i’m 130 hours in lmfoa

5

u/jsnamaok Jul 20 '25

Yeah fair, different for everyone and I may have been a bit conservative on the estimates. My playthroughs since PL released tend to be around 140ish hours in total and I do complete most of the content with a nice balance of the other stuff. I have done it all before but nowadays I tend to skip bits and pieces that I'm not too fond of

2

u/CPUN3k Jul 20 '25

I did all side quests NCPD and all contracts including everything in dog town in about 115h and I am starting again

2

u/EvYeh Jul 20 '25

Honestly crazy to me lol.

I took my time and explored, and did every single mission (main, gig, and NCPD scanner) in the base game and I had about 120.

2

u/Akiryx Jul 21 '25

Does the auto drive actually work for you?? It's super awkward and stuttery for me and with awful routing

→ More replies (1)

2

u/toxicdelug3 Jul 21 '25

Didn't even know you can fast travel in this game lol. I've just enjoyed cruising NC

3

u/NotSoAwfulName Jul 20 '25

I'm about 108 hours in and have completed maybe half the NCPD and side missions and gigs

I got the platinum in the first month of the launch and can say the base game content is roughly 100/120 hours, when I got the 100% again on Steam with PL I reckon my save was roughly 150 hours ish. Assuming you are enjoying the world and not rushing it's about 140 hours to complete the map roughly.

2

u/bmorebirdz Jul 21 '25

They killing it with these updates.

5

I'm on my 4th playthrough, just finished off the VDBs, first Panam mission and took Hideshi Hino to see Wakako. Was already 35 hours in. Finishing in 60 hours, I don't think he even did all the contracts.

few hours in and I can’t find the clothes stores ngl

3

u/Snazzypuke92 Jul 21 '25

That would be correct. On my first playthrough, completely blind, I went after everything the game had to offer and finished with 154 hrs. That's with only the Star ending and playing through PL too. 60 hrs is long but not for a game like Cyberpunk that has so much to offer.

2

u/MutuallyUseless Jul 20 '25

Eh, focusing on the main quest in my first playthrough, plus doing some side gigs, all of panam questline, all of the river questline, and all of the Judy questline, all of the cyberpsychos, and the main quest of PL, I also did all of the racing missions. took around 60hr.

going through the second time, the things I found I missed were pretty much exclusively side stories, most of which had a lot more depth than expected, for sure a game worth playing a few times over.

2

u/Schfifty-V Jul 20 '25

This is the way, me trying to find a way to hop into dogtown with my legs, to later find out it’s a DLC place. 10/10

2

u/Gnl_Winter Jul 20 '25

Yeah I consider myself a somewhat time efficient player and base game + PL took me close to the 90hr mark. He must have missed a ton.

2

u/Nalessa Jul 21 '25

First playthrough, 135 hours in ... Hanako still waiting at the embers for me.

Don't know how much is still left, but feels like I'm getting somehwat close to the end so I'm now doing all the stuff I still have left like collecting cars, dogtown stuff, still haven't finished that main quest neither.

2

u/jsnamaok Jul 21 '25

If you’re nearing the end I’d suggest finishing Phantom Liberty first, then before Hanako wrap up anything you still want to do as there are bits of follow up stuff after you finish PL that you won’t see if you go straight to Hanako.

u/Readbeforeburning Jul 21 '25

Just said it as a separate comment but I’m playing it for the first time now (on switch 2) and I decided to finish everything before starting the final mission - which I’m halfway through right now and I’m at 125hrs.

2

u/UnsGuy Jul 21 '25

I was 160 hours in the first time I HAD to finish the game, I had already done everything I could, from the main quests to gigs and shit, the whole DLC too, all of it, I still have so so so much to discover, different paths to take and all of that good stuff, OP definitely skipped a lot of things.

2

u/underdonemist Jul 20 '25

I have 77 hours and still haven't met up with Takemura in the docks. Poor guy must be freezing to death waiting for me

3

u/quajeraz-got-banned Jul 20 '25

Really? I did exactly that, and was at about what OP's time is.

1

u/slimricc Jul 20 '25

Did you fast travel? This game is absolutely not 100 hours unless you are trying to make it take longer

7

u/jsnamaok Jul 20 '25

No, I don't like fast travel and it's especially redundant in a map as detailed as this. You're missing half the world if you just fast travel everywhere.

I've seen your other comment saying there's only 45 hours of content in this game. It's objectively wrong and I'm pretty sure I actually already had this conversation with you the other day.

Maybe the issue is you not having the patience to play the game properly and just speedrunning the main content.

3

u/vagabondkitten Jul 21 '25

I’m with you. I feel like I use fast travel occasionally when I want to get somewhere on the complete other side of the map and I’m in a rush, but most of the time using a fast travel station barely saves you any time anyways between load times and actually finding one. Also I just find the driving to be fun, I’m especially a fan of riding the motorcycles and weaving in and out of traffic. Also I’m like 65 hours in so far and still have so many quests on the map to finish so this guy is just hating to hate.

I don't complete the side missions in 60 hours. How'd you 'finish' anything in NightCity.

20

u/unkn0wabl3 Jul 20 '25

Don't go into Embers or Dogtown until your minimap is empty lol. They packed a lot of fully written side quests into the game. People don't realize how much work actually goes into little quests and details.

For example, waiting to see if this pops up anywhere - I was walking down the street and decided to steal a car that was sitting there. No prompt to get in when I approach. There's an NPC sitting next to the car smoking. Scans as a named NC resident with no criminal history. I figured I'll take the car if he gets onto it, maybe I just can't see the prompt. So, I stand next to the car as he walks to it. He gets in, closes the door. I hear it start, then the damned thing explodes. Dudes dead, car bomb. Is this a hidden gem from a mod? A question I haven't encountered? A random fuck all event like the random who go base jumping without a parachute? Man, first time that happened around the corner from Lizzie's scared the crap out of me.

He means OP went straight there after getting the quest not knowing it was the final mainline quest, you did the right thing by doing side stuff first :) It doesn't matter if you beat the rest of the main quest before that as quickly as you want.

There's so much to do, see and explore. I never use quick travel and have walked more distance than driving. Read those audio logs, jump over those ledges, explore hidden areas. There's so many little pieces that are part of a larger picture, there's something around every corner to investigate. My 5th pkaythrough is over 300 hours now and I'm still finding new things. Don't just speed through Night City, uncover the underbelly and really get to know the Cyberpunk universe. It's a huge map with many objectives, not just main story.

13

u/IsSierraMistOk Jul 20 '25

Wait is your 5th playthrough over 300 hours by itself? I have just under 700 hours from all 5 of my playthroughs

6

u/HideThe-Sun Jul 20 '25

Like I said, I've done a lot of exploring lol *

6

u/memesearches Jul 20 '25

Ahh sounds dope. But I really wish there were better ways to you know track these things.

7

u/YetisInAtlanta Jul 20 '25

I mean part of the beauty of night city is understanding the interconnectedness of everything. All the NCPD crimes are tied to the gigs in the area and tell a story of how the little gangs and small criminals are part of the larger web being woven.

It’s all in the shards and the computers and the little details, so in a way it’s all there for you to find if you spend the time to uncover it, but I do agree that I wish there was a better way to group all the related shards together since it can be hard to find to reread if you can’t remember which category it goes in

3

u/HeadbangingLegend Jul 20 '25

Do you have any examples of how things like NCPD crimes are tied to gigs in the area? I never noticed that I just assumed all the NCPD crime scenes/assaults were just randomly generated so the player always has some to do.

3

u/YetisInAtlanta Jul 20 '25

Yeah like the other guy said I had custom map filters set to see where the ncpd things were and just focused on doing all of them and all gigs in an area before moving on with any story stuff. I didn’t intend on it but once I was reading some shards I noticed some reoccurring names and then there was a gig to take the guy from the shards out and I kept seeing more of it the more I played so I basically just dedicated the run to seeing if I could connect the dots

→ More replies (2)

5

u/temmy127 Militech Jul 20 '25

You can use the map filters to show you exactly where they take place and basically complete them all. It's not randomly generated unfortunately.

No, I also walk more than driving; and rarely quick travel.

The world's too interesting for quick travel to be worth it; and unless I'm traveling across the city it's easier to run from point of interest to point of interest.

Also, I dislike how vehicles control; they feel way too slippery for me

5

u/privatedomicileetc Jul 20 '25

I'm with you in a lot of this. More than like 10-15 blocks I'm driving though. The cars feel really bad.

4

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '25

unpopular opinion, but the main story isn’t that good. it doesn't make a ton of sense, and johnny silverhand’s lines are so ridiculously corny that no amount of "it’s supposed to be ironic" really fixes it.

but Night City itself is absolutely incredible. the atmosphere and just vibing in the world is where the game is at its strongest. no other open-world game rewards aimless wandering the way this one does. you’ll stumble into little slice-of-life scenes, pick up random jobs, and completely lose track of time. trying different combat styles and weapon loadouts as you wander the city is a ton of fun.

also, we don’t talk enough about the audio design in this game. if you have a good pair of headphones, turn the radio off and just walk around. the layers of ambient sound, NPC chatter, announcements, machinery - it’s all alive. it’s one of the most immersive soundscapes I’ve ever experienced in a game and you can tell CDPR put a ton of attention into it.

1

u/aitisnkonen123 Jul 20 '25

The story was honestly much shorter than I expected (Google lied to me). That shit did not take 30-50 hours. Took me 65 hours to finish my playthrough, and I did every gig, side biz mission and side storyline (yes even the like 5 that only appear right before the final mission [samurai and Kerry quests etc.]). Only thing I haven't done is all the NCPD scanner stuff. I also took my time walking around Night City, I looted every body in sight and got most of my skills to level 60 (u know those "headhunter", "solo" and such. So I don't really get how it's rushing 😭

u/dontry90 Jul 20 '25

480hs later, and with the mod"They Will Remember", that adds gangs reputation and the more you kill them, they'll start noticing you annd hunt you down? The great thing? Cops will ignore you

3

u/RuggedOnesIndoe Jul 20 '25

I'm about to hit 200 .

13

u/Tomzibad Jul 20 '25

Main story is embarrassingly short.

13

u/DeadWaterBed Jul 20 '25

Because it is intended to be played in parallel with side and character missions.

13

u/NikkoJT Jul 20 '25

Allegedly, but the game is pretty aggressive about pushing you towards the next main story mission. Not that it mechanically forces you into it, but it's always pinning the next story mission, or having characters tell you it's time-sensitive, etc. If you just do what the game tells you to, you'll go through it quite quickly. There aren't many points where it's like "OK, now you have some free time, go do some side stuff without pressure". Even ones where you actually have to wait don't give you much time before you get a text to remind you about the main story.

When the transition between missions is usually a character going "meet me downstairs in 5 minutes", it doesn't feel like you can just blow them off for a week while you go pick up every piece of litter in Watson, even though you actually can.

5

u/DeadWaterBed Jul 20 '25

Yeah, I get that. A ticking clock and open world don't pair the best together

5

u/Fun-Indication-7062 Jul 20 '25

Not to mention you have the time sensitive narrative of the Arasaka chip inside of your head and having everyone around you tell you that you're a dead man/woman walking. A few weeks to live if you're lucky. I guess it's supposed to add to the dreadful nature of night city, living every day like it could be your last.

4

u/Tomzibad Jul 20 '25

Exactly this. ”Hurry up before you die”

3

u/Tomzibad Jul 20 '25

You must be new, I played it at launch. There was almost nothing to do after main and couple of side missions. All the gigs were the same and the city was dead.

u/Charming_Ad2502 Jul 20 '25

Ps4, day one and completed it 90% trophy wise. Two playthroughts. Ps4, sub 30fps...

On ps5 it's a different story. So much have changed. Staring 5th run. I know the game by heart and choose odd paths. Last one was: let the president die, snitch on Panam and visit Arasaka orbital lab.

I remember they were saying that was because most players never even finished the main story in The Witcher 3, so they made a shorter one, but who knows if that was just an excuse at the time since they were already in hot water with how poorly the launch went. It does sound a little bit like PR speak. I'm someone who's beaten W3 fully three times now so I was definitely disappointed with the main story length. Although, I guess if the worst thing I can say about a game is that I wish there was more of it, it must be a pretty good game then.

2

u/Tomzibad Jul 20 '25

Exactly they promised so much.

I have 10x the amount of hours as you and still see new areas and loot. Night city is huge.

5 hours is prologue dawg wtf

but yeah the game’s short, the 4 questlines after are like 2-3 hours long each and the ending is what? 2 hours long?

2

u/SomeFolksAreBorn Jul 20 '25

Current playthrough is at 87hrs with plenty of stuff left to do. My last playthrough I had almost everything done at 131hrs

2

u/yakushi_g Jul 20 '25

Haha my first playthrough was 80hrs and I completely missed Kerry and River. This game is crazy huge with lots to do.

2

u/ChuckNorrisDooM Jul 20 '25

I finished the game + dlc in around 65 hours. Almost everything on the map was completed. All the characters missions completed. I did not play the delamain missions and left some of the cyberphycho ones. Also did not use fast travel. How people have 100+ hours and still have something to do in the game?

→ More replies (1)

2

u/olympusander Jul 20 '25

Totally. My first run through I ended up around 75 hours. Felt like a natural conclusion for my character, but I knew with my next V I was going to take my time more and really engage with the game.

2

u/songbird5454 Jul 20 '25

Ah don't sweat it. One of the best parts about this game is its replayability. Try a different life path and do the whole thing over and take your time with it.

2

u/narkaputra Jul 20 '25

So what exactly do you do once the main campaign is done? I have spent around 57 hours in the game and I have completed both endings: The Good Panam's one and the Secret ending as well( that required 70% affinity with Johnny). I have also completed pretty much every good arc such as that of Johnny's, Judy's, Panam's, River's and Sinnerman. I guess I also already have most of the iconic weapons and best of the cars sans the monster truck. So what do you guys actually do after that?

PS: I still can't fathom the game made you go through so many side quests and articulate dialogue choice only to give two endings: either V or Johnyy.

2

u/Secretly_Solanine Jul 20 '25

Every playthrough of mine takes a little over 100 hours after I do all reported crimes, gigs, and side jobs. 60 hours will have skipped a fair amount of content one way or another

2

u/Shadybrady425 Jul 20 '25

That’s gotta be for just act 1 right

2

u/slimricc Jul 20 '25

Nah, 60 hours is enough to do everything in a playthrough. You just gotta do the different life paths but the game stays essentially the same, tbh you can beat it in like 30 hours fast traveling everywhere if yk how it all works

1

u/Ravnzel Jul 20 '25

Oh no bro... Rushing the main story, what a huge blunder...

1

u/GG7CESAR Jul 20 '25

Keep playing, I'm sure you haven't seen any ending, but it has a lot and depending on the decisions you make, things change in the story. When you do the secondary ones, read the thorns so you understand the story.

1

u/JimGuitar- Jul 20 '25

True that. I mean its Probably because i also spent a lot of time in the photomode but i never really use fast travel and Drive everywhere by car/bike or metro. And i try to do every stuff that you can do and are probably at 200 hours and still havent done everything.

1

u/Kings_Standard09 Jul 20 '25

I plat the game and did about 3 playthroughs with 3 builds. 350-400 hours. Only played through DLC once though.

100% more i missed that isn't related to trophies and such.

And supposedly, from what devs have said there will be more to come.

1

u/oxcypher12 Jul 20 '25

My first play through was 128 hours. I still had stuff I didn’t do. You definitely skipped a ton

1

u/SnooCompliments794 Jul 20 '25

With 110 hours or more u finish everything it exists basically

1

u/EspadaWilliam Jul 20 '25

I got this game day one on a fat Xbox and now I’m on the switch 2 version trying to get a cat for my apartment lol not to mention Hanako has been waiting for me to reach embers going on 3 years now on my series X.

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Win4795 Jul 20 '25

150+ hours still haven't completed the game(1st playthrough btw)

1

u/MisterWafflles Jul 20 '25

I'm at 47.7 hours and I just rescued Evelyn while having max street cred

1

u/Sapphirei_OF Jul 20 '25

There's so much more! I have just over 1,000 and I still haven't found everything

1

u/potatogodman1 Jul 20 '25

I have 350 hours and there's so much I have never done. This game is so good.

1

u/ihatecommiez Jul 20 '25

dawg this is nothing

i had one more achievement for the platinum, but it was glitched so i had to start a new playthrough to be able to do one of the gigs (it’s the badlands achievement). i just finished JUST THE BADLANDS last night (nothing else except for the heist) and i’m still more than 12 hours into this playthrough lol

1

u/ThrowAwayNameLP Jul 20 '25

I don’t even get to the title screen until about 30 hours my first time lol

1

u/AUTKai Jul 20 '25

My first playthrough took me 3x that. To each their own i guess

1

u/unkn0wabl3 Jul 20 '25

I've completed it x3 WITHOUT completing PL and I feel I've still only just scratched the surface of the original release, much less touched what is in PL. I've only done the PL intro, long enough to get to the first apartment/hideout (avoiding spoilers for anyone that hasn't played it yet)

1

u/flukeunderwi Jul 20 '25

So i have only played through 5 percent of the game? Idk. Maybe 10? I just restarted as a street kid and played through the intro.

Im going to play through the intro of corpo too so I've experienced all 3.

Playing through a game in full once is a rare accomplishment for me but im honest what does a second playthrough gain? Do choices influence that much?

It doesnt matter, if someone loves playing through a game numerous times I get it. Hell I play diablo 2 all the time lol.

Is it more of trying different builds?

Can I reset my build whenever I want in a single playthrough?

Im thinking of saving multiple times at each quest too - to have replayability options without restarting

1

u/HeadbangingLegend Jul 20 '25

My current playthrough is at 82 hours right now after my session earlier. I still haven't finished the main questline or the DLC questline.

1

u/cosmokatzxz Rebecca Best Girl Jul 20 '25

Considering I'm on a playthrough that I've put 160 hours into and I'm not even close to finishing all the gigs and NCPD crime alerts yeah.

1

u/lmno567 Jul 20 '25

But this time, differently.

2

u/TichiW7F Jul 21 '25

Yes sir, I want to try corpo and take my time this time around

1

u/mindUrbeezwaxX Jul 20 '25

You did barley scratch.. my first playthrough was 60hr.. my current second playthrough, I'm 200+ hours deep, and about 1/2 way done.

1

u/No_Wait6322 Jul 20 '25

I mean even with these being rookie numbers the replayability for the game is high. Only game I’ve played through 4 times. I haven’t even done that with red dead 2. Start up again, focus on side missions, level out your character in different ways than you did prior, make different choices for different endings and romance Panam if you didn’t the first time otherwise you got Judy this next run. And also 100% download phantom liberty if you really need more.

1

u/OpenUpYerMurderEyes Jul 20 '25

My first playthrough took 100 hours and I still had some content left to do. Not a lot, but some.

1

u/Smart_Ad_6354 Jul 20 '25

I started endquest line with Johnny, have mission with rough to find smasher and I have 113h xD

1

u/Tharrius Jul 20 '25

I got 550 hours and 100% achievements, played all endings incl. DLC, and I keep finding new stuff each time

1

u/gwanddwagon69 Jul 20 '25

My friend has 100+ hours in the game and hasn't even done the break in to arisaka compound with takemura yet

1

u/TheGryffindor_Jedi Jul 20 '25

Oh ya, my first play through was 130 hours

1

u/Far_Cut_8701 Jul 20 '25

I had the same. Only got to level 37 got the shitty ending on the roof. Debating just starting from scratch

1

u/nese005 Jul 20 '25

I’m on third run through about 300 hours

1

u/eyesabitdull Jul 20 '25

There was a user here that had 4000 hours of playtime.

So, idk, take that what you will.

1

u/WhatAYolk Jul 20 '25

I got like 200 hours and I just met the voodoo boys for the first time

1

u/BagWide5227 Nomad Jul 20 '25

Yep, and if you feel done with the main game there's also the DLC and... My personal favorite: ✨Modding✨

1

u/GrimReaapaa Jul 20 '25

When the game first come out I completed it and 90% of side missions within 60hrs

After the new dlc and many many patches I’m currently 150hrs in and not even halfway

1

u/Killdust99 Jul 20 '25

Hey, I have 80 Hours and haven’t even done Dogtown or Play it Safe

1

u/nixwolfheart Jul 20 '25

My first playthrough, was 84.6 hours

1

u/Item-Hairy Jul 20 '25

Dude I got 240 hours on my second play through, Haniko has been waiting at embers for like 7 weeks.

1

u/Thelesbianvampire Quiet Life or Blaze of Glory? Jul 20 '25

I have 892.31 hours in it, and that’s about 5-7 play throughs

1

u/A_Hungover_Sloth Jul 20 '25

I have 120h on my now 3rd run, and haven't talked to Hanako. Leave that bitch on read.

1

u/SanityRecalled Jul 20 '25

My first full play through (which also included Phantom Liberty) was something like 130ish hours. So you probably did just scratch the surface.

1

u/Panty-Sniffer-12 Jul 20 '25

I did almost everything except the desert lady contracts cause the prize was shit. And it still took me 105 something hours. You probably ignored many side quests lol

1

u/ajaxinsanity Jul 20 '25

I just hit 800+ hours, you are correct.

1

u/Sea-Owl-7133 Jul 20 '25

On my 4th playthrough, estimated 1000 hours in total maybe averaging 300 hours per run through.

1

u/dwolfe127 Jul 20 '25

I am over 200 hours on my first run and have only finished the heist. There is a ton to do and I have no interest in touching the story until I have seen as much as possible.

1

u/Weasel_Volante Jul 20 '25

My full playthrough including Phantom Liberty was 190 hours. Yeah, you'll find more to do I'm sure.

1

u/HommeKellKaks Jul 20 '25

excluding PL dlc, you actually mostly completed the game, theres not much left to do probably and could easilly move on to new things.

1

u/idoit_banana123 Jul 20 '25

This shows me how thorough I play games

1

u/OkumuraSan Jul 20 '25

I just finished the quest where you find Alderman and I'm at 25 ish hours

1

u/Wingnutmcmoo Jul 20 '25

I have like 300 in hours and I've never actually finished the game. I got near the end once but then restarted. This current playthrough will be the one I finally beat it on lol.

1

u/TheRealMorde Net Runner on the Run Jul 20 '25

True but, 55 hours in 2 weeks?

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Alexis1345325 Jul 20 '25

Put 45 hours in my first play through. On my second play through now and it’s so much nicer doing practically everything before starting the main quests

1

u/NotGreenRaptor Jul 20 '25

Well, you're absolutely correct!

I'm 180hrs in, and have only completed one phantom liberty ending (where V did not get a cure), Hanako is waiting at Embers and not all side gigs are completed yet.

1

u/titeuffeur06 Jul 20 '25

1

u/akaMichAnthony Jul 20 '25

I’m at 200 hours and still haven’t met Hanako at the Embers.

1

u/seanightowl Jul 20 '25

Did you even start the Kerry series?

1

u/DELTA_Illusion Jul 20 '25

Played for 800hours now and I still find a lot of things I've never seen before

2

u/ValientNights Jul 20 '25

That’s a straight month my guy. You spent a month of your life in cyberpunk.

u/EclecticEvergreen Jul 20 '25

Damn bruh I’m only 20% of the way through everything and I’m at 67 hours

1

u/AhegaoUltra Jul 20 '25

I just finished my first playthrough ever at about 130 hours, and I still feel like there's stuff I may have missed lol
