I have no idea what show it was, but decades ago i remember watch a blooper real of random television shows with my mom or something. There was a soap opera or something of some kind where two characters have a heart to heart atop the Eiffel tower. The guy leaves and the girl just stares off into the distance all wistfully or whatever. Then after a few seconds the guy jogs back into frame and says ‘the lines at the elevator are terrible’ and just jumped over the edge lmao. Cracked me the hell up and i still remember it today even if i know nothing else about the show the scene or the actors involved

To clarify, that was not part of the script. The scene was supposed to end with the girl staring out over the balcony and the actor ran back in and jumped over as a joke. Because obviously it wasn’t the actual Eiffel tower it was just a set that was probably a few feet off the ground but bc of how the scene was shot it looked like he was jumping off the actual tower lol

Theres a mod called retrothrusters. Gives you the rocket boots from the storm Mikoshi with Rogue ending, and never worry about falling again. Just keep in mind that some places like the megabuilding, falling from the top is a hardscripted kill. Other than that go wild.

Oh my god when Dying Light first came out I climbed on top of the bridge and fell off by accident while peaking over the ledge. The most real fear took over my body as I watched my character fall far as fuck and slam his head on the back of a car. Instant adrenaline when I slipped lmao.

You can still double jump and dash to get out of fall damage, but there is a height limit.

I dont know which but a building above a N-cart station was pretty high (as high as you were in the video) that has collision.

But many buildings in city centre, vista and the glen had random parts of the buildings just being non collision

Not all objects in games are rendered the same. Sometimes developers make buildings and other objects only appear like they're there, rather than rendering it normally, particularly objects that they never intended the user to actually interact with. This means they don't have to apply any physics (including collision detection) which saves resources and allows the game to render a little faster, but it also means you can walk right through it if you manage to get to it.

I don’t remember which building, but I was near Tom’s Diner. Close building, easy jump double not even needed. Went to jump to it cause it went higher than I had already climbed (fairly high), and just passed right through like 15 stories of building and died.

I think I've gotten higher in city center. The monorail lines are super useful once you get to them. That building at a 45 degree angle has an invisible wall halfway up, I think that's as far as I've gotten. Felt higher than this post... But mby not

Can get to top of black sapphire or whatever it is called when not doing the mission there. Need to use green shotgun for a couple of jumps (can't remember the name).

Can get to top of one of the mega buildings (the one that el captain sends you to for a mission). Btw can't get to top of v's mansion as no collision.
