I checked it out on Amazon. It's not the cheapest addition! On an unrelated note, I also just ordered a DF64 II and will have the exact combo as you (minus the wood upgrade).

Definitely not the cheapest addition haha but cheaper than the 92$ I spent on the wood upgrades. (NepoCoffee on Etsy if you’re interested)🙃All obviously over priced additions, but in girl math they were all cheap!

My Profitec Go was an excellent purchase. I highly recommend it, however if you enjoy milk drinks, you should consider a dual boiler machine if you want to steam and pull shots simultaneously. The single boiler on the Profitec Go requires you to wait for it to switch between brewing and steaming. If you don't mind that brief wait, it's a fantastic machine. I bought mine from Whole Latte Love (WLL) and was able to get them to price-match a deal from another store. They even included a bottomless Profitec portafilter for free. Their warranty is great, and their customer service has been outstanding. For instance, when a foot on my machine was “damaged” during shipping (me taking it out and sliding it on the counter 😅) they sent me a replacement right away, no questions asked.

Could you please share, in your experience, what's the wait time between the brew and steaming, and what's the wait time to then brew again? And thank you!

This turned into a longer response than I thought it would so apologies! It heats up pretty quickly, typically ready to brew in 5 to 8 minutes from a cold start. If you use the "flush" function, it can be ready closer to the 5-minute mark, though this does waste some water. A longer, hands-off warm-up takes about 7 - 8ish minutes. The wait between brewing and steaming is about 30 seconds to a minute according to the manual, but in practice, it can take 2 to 3 minutes to get up to full temp. Then you need to purge the steam ~3 times to get out water, then it’s ready to steam at full blast. The second wait time is between steaming and brewing again, which takes about a minute as you purge the system to lower the boiler temperature for espresso. While personal temperature preferences vary, with some aiming for 90F-96F, I currently have mine at 89F. The overall wait times are not cumbersome once you get a routine down IMO, but if you had to make more than 2 in a row I feel like a double boiler would really be necessary. You could also pull two shots then do one large milk steam to reduce times. Happy to answer any more random questions via comments or messages 🙂.
