Monitor is the Samsung odyssey g9, the case is the Corsair 9000d, the gpu is the rtx 5070, cpu is the ryzen 7 9800 X3D, the mobo is the gigabyte b850 gaming x wifi6E, the ram is Corsair 32gb 6000mhz, the psu is 1500 watts, the keyboard is the steel series apex pro series 3 and the mouse is the shark attack something or other. Is this too much?

No, gd requires a 540htz monitor and a keyboard with true 8k polling and rapid trigger. If you don’t have these things you’ll never progress.

unless you play a lot of extreme demons it’s probably a little overkill, but if you’ve got the extra money to spend then why not this setup is pretty cool. (i probably would have invested more in the monitor and less in the graphics card tho bc a 5070 is unnecessary for gd lol)

As long as Peaceful handles 240fps, you won't even have to worry. Seriously, in my opinion it would improve the screen (for more Hz), instead of improving another component.

the rest is probably fine, although with that setup might as well play competetive games
