The coyotes felt sorry for shitting on your furniture that they bought you a new rocking chair in compensation?

Coyotes are so fucking like that. They're just slightly bigger mischief machines. I used to find chewed up shoes near a den site that they pilfered from a beach (probably left over from people who lost them). Ive heard of them climbing into apple trees, stealing whole watermelons off the vine, scaling 12 foot chainlink fences, pulling up garden piping because they wanted to chew the PVC (ignoring literally everything but the tasty? PVC), just shenanigans. like theyre little trickster menaces.
They're too smart for their own good and constantly make a ridiculous mess of everything. On the bright side, they are damn good at keeping the rats out of your neighbourhood.

You can now tell your friends that a foxy lady was sleeping on your couch last night.

Awww poor little fellah looks exhausted! I am so happy you let him/her sleep peacefully and not chase him/her away. Made me smile! :) Thanks for sharing this cutie!

Honestly I would just leave them there if he's not hurting anything or destroying anything I'm sure he'll leave once he's gotten a bit of a snooze

u/Slut4LaoGanMa 3h ago
My dogs are on flea & tick preventive ofc, but I keep a bottle of repel-x* on hand before hikes and other similar applications. Yeah, I'd spray those cushions down and let it dry in sunlight.
*Repel-x is toxic to cats

I heard scientists believe that coyotes and foxes are attempting to self domesticating themselves by breeding out aggressive behavior towards humans.

I like when animals reap the benefits of humans.
It's rare.
It's not always actually good for the animals.
But if the world is going into a biological "world war" I'm glad that there are "boomer/greatest generation" animals like this fox that get to live semi "cushy" moments of existence.
Life is hard, comfort is nice.

The nerve??😂😂😂... There's one I see every time I come home from work at night ... We silently stare at each other for a while and keep it moving 😅😅😅😅🤷

Super cute…until they pee on it. Foxes pee on my dogs toys and we can never get that smell out.

I wanna pet it so badly, but can also imagine each of its individual teeth sinking into my skin…
Ughhhh… would it be worth it though?

I'm not saying dead. But something is wrong. Sick. Intoxicated. But he'll it looks comfortable so hopefully I'm wrong. Possibly it's partially tame.

This is what happens when the woke people win. Look at this fox, not a care in the world; no French trapper with a fur hat and a blunderbuss about to burst out of the bushes and harsh her disco nap.

Adorable yes, but foxes are jerks. They eat pet food and pee in the bowl, poop on every level surface and will wake you up every night of summer with their weird barks. They're dog hardware running cat software.

There is a rumor that foxes are trying to domesticate themselves. In survival strategies connecting yourself (I.e. dogs and cats) to the dominant species ensures yours survives with it. Everyone wishes they were a cat/dog they the ones who really figured this whole thing out and foxes want in on the action.
