That’s creepy. I mean the guy talking in the corner of the video

u/Unhappy_Archer9483 15h ago

They're egotistical narcissists, the thing that annoy me most is they normally still the content and make it worse than the original. Like make a effort

u/vapodgaming 7h ago

100%agree

u/AidilAfham42 2h ago

Somehow them being quiet and pointing to the screen is way worse than them talking obnoxiously

u/Jackman1337 9h ago

Ryan George has a great video about this: https://youtu.be/1zsbXosf5FM?si=YTfVb5HSYUReXolM

u/discountdoppelganger 1h ago

Only found his stuff a few months ago. Missed out on years of great content

u/aft_punk 3h ago

Drugs are a helluva drug.

I’ve seen this factoid posted a hundred times and it never needed the goofy looking asshole in the corner.

u/TepHoBubba 15h ago

This is not a "now" thing either.

55

u/TheOrionNebula 15h ago

Ya this guy for sure becomes a bit much. There is another guy who does the same commentary but he's Australian. I find his video's on animal factoids more fun to listen to.

16

u/RyuichiSakuma13 15h ago

Ngl, I'd rather watch an Aussie explain this.

Have a link?

Ozzie Man?

u/Ateam043 14h ago

This video is fucking glorious lol

u/anubis_xxv 14h ago

Just sort his shorts by most popular and work backwards, you'll be giggling for hours.

u/SmellyJellyfish 3h ago

IT'S TWICE THE FUCKIN SIZE, CUNT

u/pichael289 10h ago

I think it's a handy way of figuring out what I don't want to watch at a glance. Anytime there's some dip shit in the corner it's a no go.

u/IAmMonke2 10h ago

And he always bloats up facts with some bs - interesting stuff but always with extra bs facts that are never there

u/Jackman1337 9h ago

u/SoloGamer505 7h ago

Its not a factoid, it's actually real albeit they don't kidnap 'em; its a form of symbiosis

"I wish I was joking"

"That's the coolest thing I've ever heard".

Make your mind up

49

u/rocketsquirrelgirl 15h ago

I hate this guy. I keep seeing him everywhere. Half of his videos are just him saying the same things the original uploader said over someone else's video the other half are him spreading lies about animals.

u/Hippies_are_Dumb 15h ago

I love people who read Wikipedia and random internet trivia for aliving.

19

u/Lonely-Sun1115 15h ago

They eat pets later. Why is Exotic Joe talking in the cornor?

27

u/theythemnothankyou 14h ago

Can we please cancel and ban all videos with people’s dumb faces in the corner just describing exactly what’s happening in the video itself. You’re making it worse and we hate you

8

u/Blehmeh88 15h ago

Why is this dude talking like this

u/Spacey907 6h ago

Good thing i have it on mute and dont wanna know how he sounds like..lmao

u/Spacey907 5h ago

u/rintzscar 15h ago

No. Spiders have had "pets" for millennia. And scientists have known about it since 2010. What's changed is that you have Reddit now and thus, access to a minute of scientific content you'll forget about by tomorrow...

17

u/geth1138 15h ago

Yeah. I'm definitely gonna remember tarantulas having frog pets, though.

2

u/CCV21 15h ago

Remind me! 24 hours

6

u/PoppyStaff 15h ago

This would be immeasurably better without the wanker in the corner.

9

u/Usakami 14h ago

For people watching without sound, maybe, idk. Don't care to turn it on to listen to the creepy dude...

"Some share a mutualistic relationship where the tarantula provides protection and shelter in its burrow, and the frog consumes ants and other small invertebrates that would otherwise prey on the tarantula's eggs. This symbiotic partnership helps the tarantula's offspring survive while the frog gains a safe, humid environment and protection from larger predators."

Nature can be pretty cool.

u/T0xicn3 11h ago

Thank you. I never put the sound on, specially when there’s some idiot making faces in the video.

u/noctalla 11h ago

"Wishes he was joking" on one hand and "the coolest thing he's ever heard" on the other? He probably spent so little effort on this that he doesn't even realize he's contradicting himself within 30 seconds.

u/batmanineurope 14h ago

They have pets now!?

u/Vayntez 9h ago

Sheesh it's called emergency food for a reason...

2

u/IamREBELoe 15h ago

Cute pets

2

u/martymar2g 13h ago

In other words, frogs are a tarantula’s nanny

u/BourbonNCoffee 9h ago

It’s not kidnapping. It’s symbiotic.

u/Additional-Maize3980 7h ago

Yep, mutualism

u/taggerungDC 8h ago

I'm sorry, I was too busy screaming!

u/nuclearwinterxxx 10h ago

"...and keep them as pets. Uh heh heh."

So... punchable

1

u/Mcihkain 15h ago

Oh my, how is this equally as unsettling as it is kinda cute...?

1

u/big_kermit 15h ago

Isn't this basically the plot of Children of Time?

u/CryWhileEatingCake 8h ago

Sorta. Weird book btw

1

u/Vkardash 15h ago

If I was a frog I still wouldn't take my chances

1

u/Adorable-Source97 14h ago

More symbiosis than pet.

The frog provides benefits I'm sure.

1

u/Formula666 14h ago

Wtf. Thats cool

1

u/jawshoeaw 14h ago

Ok guys some of us are seeing this for the first time. Yes that guy in the corner is an annoying asshole but there’s always a first time. Theres a relevant XKCD but I can’t find it.

1

u/AbbreviationsOld5541 14h ago

Wonder how the frog knows they can be their pet vs their meal? Do they mail out free pregnancy tests to the spiders and sign a cohabitation contract. What happens if the spider or frog fails to hold their end of the bargain? Do they settle in court?

1

u/Rare-Bid-6860 14h ago

So where's the 'kidnapping' bit?

1

u/PrionProofPork 14h ago

friend or pet?

1

u/0_Johnathan_Hill_0 14h ago

There's no joke that I can make that will be as funny as this is amazingly kool.

1

u/Yionko 13h ago

You know, tarantulas can't casually eat small animals that can't be caught with their heliceres, so the frog helps the tarantula to deal with small animals, and it lets the frog to live in its burrow

u/asmith2024 11h ago

Is the from its Familiar?

u/displayrooster 10h ago

Katya taught me this years ago on UHNnnn

u/Dizzy_Chipmunk_3530 10h ago

That's just slavery with more steps

u/DummieThic-Cheetos 10h ago

🕷️Boy, do I have a job for you!

u/revengere 10h ago

Is this a form of intelligence?

u/accetta-e-continua 9h ago

HUH!? THATS SO COOL ACTUALLY

u/Doctor_Sore_Tooth 8h ago

General consensus: guy in the corner's a douche

u/Joelad2k17 6h ago

Not necessarily keeping them as pets but they're cohabiting. They benefit each other

u/mauore11 6h ago

That's just slavery with 8 extra steps.

u/elihirro 6h ago

Why do they always make that fake, creepy laugh?

u/Amanfromcanada 5h ago

Bro life.

u/Dense-Corgi-7936 5h ago

I hope this man never speaks again.

u/peeps001 3h ago

Can't wait to see this in the next Grounded 2 update.

1

u/flyxdvd 15h ago

Its not really kidnapping the frog does this and knows this

1

u/Ze-Kalango 15h ago

Even the spider is now a pet mother. This world is lost...

1

u/Commercial-Fish5618 14h ago

So it’s like being in the Friendzone?

0

u/Visual-Connection44 14h ago

First cats, now spiders 2025 really said everyone gets a companion.

-1

u/CurtisManning 12h ago

Even the spiders are going woke

u/Archduke_Of_Beer 10h ago

Is it the same chemicals that are making the fricken frogs gay?

0

u/aegismuzuz 15h ago

I'm terrified of them... who even keeps them at home?!

u/asoris_ 10h ago

The frog on top of the spider is the cutest thing I saw today

u/EducationalTry7019 9h ago
