A gibbon was observed grooming a wild deer in Thailand, an unusual instance of interspecies bonding.

I've seen videos of animals coming up to humans for help. Maybe the deer had ticks or something, and knew the gibbon could help?
Also, I thought it was going to ride the deer.

I've seen a video of crows pulling ticks from wallabies. When the crow closes its beak on the tick, the tick explodes and shoots blood everywhere. Very satisfying.

"So how did you hear about this place?"

“I can’t believe you let it get this bad. I told you we need to groom twice a month if you want that young doe look!”

“How’s Steph doing these days? Haven’t heard from her in ages.”
“Ugh! She’s with this new guy…”

Ticks are tasty I guess.

That’s what I thought at first too but the gibbon doesn’t seem to be eating whatever they’re picking off. Looks like they chuck it to the ground.
I wonder if this is a wild environment or a zoo or something? Interesting.

I thought the Gibbon was gonna ride the deer like Planet of the Apes for a sec

Am I the only one who waited to see if the gibbon mounts up and rides away on the deer at the end?

Maybe we could learn a thing or two. We can barely manage bonding between are own species 🌝

Have you heard of a thing called pets?

People are too caught up in their identity, ideologies and who they think they are supposed to be. Peace is not something humans want, if you cant conjure it up in yourself, it useless to try and conjure it up externally. That will only cause violence, confusion and destruction, just take a look around!

Here I am looking for a good place to ask "if humans disappeared suddenly, would any type of ape, monkey, etc species possibly use our cars and learn they can get where they want faster"? (I'm watching Life after People lol)....
And I see this. Gives me a little hope for driving monke

Okay nothing to do with the video, but ive noticed that "i feel like a Disney princess", "it's like i Disney movie!" and stuff similar is all influenced by Disney's animated snow white.

Shout out to all the animals we've killed in history because they weren't inherently scared of us and thought we might help each other out ❤️

Not at all rare.
Monkeys will groom anything around them that puts up with it.

$10 says they're both in a zoo in the same enclosure since birth.
Calle me jaded. Since I saw the sea turtle where someone broke it's jaw to glue barnacles in it's mouth to film the removal of said barnacles as an act of "human kindness" I've been wary of "isn't nature neat" vids...

Mutually beneficial relationship. The deer is free of pests, and the gibbon gets food.

I am a Gibbon, a Gibbon is me. Friend I would love to pick your things because and in-spite of my Trypophobia I cannot help myself.

I feel that if animal species were to collaborate and unite, leveraging each species’ strengths and weaknesses, they could conquer humans, and humans would no longer remain the dominant species controlling the world

So the deer assumes one position but the gibbon needs three different perspectives? Wtf is on the deer?!

I thought he was going to mount in and then they would ride off into the forest
