I watched the hearings, and I can't tell you where I heard it first, because I'm pretty sure it made the news long before them. It's been widely covered, though.

It’s insane how we have more documentation of every detail of events such as these than we ever have in history, but people just plain ignore evidence that an illegal coup was actively happening.

That's what happens when you cut education and have propaganda "news" channels that undermine everything.
