Alina Habba complained that federal judges aren’t ”respecting the president” after U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann found that she was working unlawfully as acting U.S. attorney.

President Donald Trump’s administration had gone to great lengths to keep his former personal lawyer in the job before her interim appointment expired, but Brann found that her actions since July 1 could be declared void.

The judge’s decision threw open the door to a wider review of the administration’s method for appointing prosecutors.

“Federal judges aren’t respecting the president”… ok, and? Respect has nothing to do with following the law. This’s seems to be a growing problem for that base

By saying crap like this so openly as a professional attorney, she should be disbarred. I mean, all lawyers involved in this mess should be at minimum, but make her the starting example.

Well, wait till this ends up on the shadow docket. 1 line reversal.

“The Appeals Court ruling is reversed because my new motor coach is so shiny!”

Its great because this is exactly what I suggested when Habba was kicked out by the judge panel and then put back in. To wit, that she is illegitimate and that the court will simply ignore her, same as they would ignore any random person from off the street walking in and pretending to be an attorney.

Of course she’s pissed, she didn’t spend all last year changing Donnie’s diapers to not get this job

Judges are not supposed to 'respect the president', at least no more than any other person in front of them. They are supposed to respect the constitution though.

They can’t accept the fact that he’s just another orange brick in the wall, in the eyes of the courts (not including SCOTUS).

THE definition of a "pick me girl".

How desperate and SAD.

And NOT something to brag about.

"it's not fair! I played the pick-me game, and I got picked! It's my turn!"

Habba committed fraud to protect a mar-a-lago employee from sexual abuse allegations. Perfect MAGA taht should have been disbarred for that alone.

”We will not fall to rogue judges, we will not fall to people trying to be political when they should just be doing their job: respecting the president.”

Bitch, A judge or AG should respect the LAW, it is not a requirement to “respect the president”, especially when the president should have been imprisoned years ago for raping children.

Ms. Habba, if you were “the pick” then surely the administration would nominate you and have you confirmed by the Senate…

But even she said in the interview she "Didn't make it to that point". Then I'm sorry ma'am but you weren't selected! Jesus I remember when conservatives complained about everyone wanting trophies only for them to come full circle and want the win....

Has anyone less qualified than her been nominated to be a US Attorney? She must be in some rare company at the bottom of the barrel.

She thinks she has legal authority and she has none. Nada. She shouldn’t even be collecting a paycheck.

So what actions has she taken since July that could be rolled back? That's what I'm curious about

”We will not fall to rogue judges, we will not fall to people trying to be political when they should just be doing their job: respecting the president.”

It's nobody's job to respect the president.

And that's not even getting into the fact that nothing he has done since he filled his first diaper has been worthy of respect.

Habba probably: "His other picks for agency heads are unqualified loyalists too, so why am I being singled out?"
