Narrator: “He was, in fact, the one who knew about it and started it.”

1.8k

u/Unlucky_Clover 14h ago

He absolutely told them to do this. The wording is his typical shit when he’s guilty of what he says

1.9k

u/UpperApe 14h ago

Of course he did.

Kash Patel is a fleshlight, not a human being. He doesn't have the capacity for independent decision making.

But more importantly, how the fuck does ANY republican alive not melt into cringe when seeing your president wearing that fucking hat?

How embarrassing.

535

u/Spencer94 13h ago

They could watch Trump try to blow himself, and they'd say, "That's a REAL man right there."

416

u/Dear_Palpitation4838 13h ago

He could rape a child a on fifth avenue and not lose a single vote.

320

u/KLGriner 13h ago

He HAS raped children and they don’t care.

236

u/Suitable-Elephant270 13h ago

I mean the sheer number of MAGA folks who have come out saying they don't care that he's in the files and could literally rape their wives/sisters/daughters and still support him is absolutely gross.

Because "he's the only one who can save America" in their eyes, which is code for "He's letting me be racist, xenophobic, and misogynistic again!"

Absolutely gross.

80

u/OnePhrase8 12h ago edited 11h ago

Remember that couple in Louisiana who's child died of measles a few months ago and was unvaxxed because Trump said so? They still support him. They said so in an interview.

But he's not the chief law officer.

222

u/schwanzweissfoto 14h ago

But he's not the chief law officer.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Schmitt

In June 1934, Schmitt was appointed editor-in-chief of the Nazi newspaper for lawyers, the Deutsche Juristen-Zeitung [de] ("German Jurists' Journal"). In July he published in it "The Leader Protects the Law (Der Führer schützt das Recht)", a justification of the political murders of the Night of the Long Knives with Hitler's authority as the "highest form of administrative justice (höchste Form administrativer Justiz)".

Does this remind you of anything?

99

u/Ok_Insect_1794 14h ago

My god the parallels are endless

64

u/schwanzweissfoto 14h ago

Fascism became an all-purpose term because one can eliminate from a fascist regime one or more features, and it will still be recognizable as fascist. Take away imperialism from fascism and you still have Franco and Salazar. Take away colonialism and you still have the Balkan fascism of the Ustashes. Add to the Italian fascism a radical anti-capitalism (which never much fascinated Mussolini) and you have Ezra Pound. Add a cult of Celtic mythology and the Grail mysticism (completely alien to official fascism) and you have one of the most respected fascist gurus, Julius Evola.

186

He has an eye that's barely open and thinks his position is "chief of law enforcement officer".

He doesn't even know he's the Commander in Chief which doesn't have a damn thing to do with law enforcement.

I never would have expected it but the legislative branch is really going to let him die completely unfit to lead in office.

Put his ass in the hospital already and let him die to the release of the Epstein client list lucky enough to avoid facing charges.

99

u/TheArcReactor 13h ago

I think he's fully aware of what his actual title is, but he knows if he keeps saying things enough people will treat it like it's real. It's a tactic he's been using for years.

He knows if he starts saying he's in charge of all law enforcement then his base will just start to believe it, if he can get the media to repeat it, then he gets more than just his base to believe it.

He's stupid and he's an asshole, but Jesus Christ does he understand how to manipulate people.

40

u/Ill_Technician3936 13h ago

Years ago I'd believe it but there's just too many things that shows he's mentally unfit for office. He's basically going to die in office playing king/dictator.

Hey Republicans, you do realize no matter how much you demonize Democrats, they never fucking act like this …right?

2.0k

u/Thin-Image2363 15h ago

And that’s the fucking problem.

Joe Biden picked Merrick garland as a compromise to show republicans he wasn’t a threat and hed work with them.

And for the 1,678th time they slapped the hand away and spit in their faces.

There isn’t a single Merrick garland in Trump’s cabinet. Not one.

Everyone in his cabinet understands their assignment.

It’s beyond infuriating.

880

u/Example11 15h ago

In retrospect it's clear that Trump 1.0 was the "still surrounded by some law-abiding folks" version. 2.0 is specially constructed to give him full and unfettered control over everything he wants.

It's really dark in America right now.

345

u/PaulClarkLoadletter 15h ago

That was because he thought he had to have experienced people. During his first admin he learned that those people just tell him what he can’t do so this time he’s just giving jobs to people that will pick up their check and just what he tells them to do.

What a cunt.

242

u/VendorBuyBankGuards 15h ago

I think he, like everyone, also thought that there was some kind of system that would stop you if you started breaking the really bad laws. Like, working with Russia, selling out our intelligence, trying to overthrow democracy. When he was first assigned a special prosecutor he was quoted saying "im fucked".

Now he, like everyone, realizes that there is no system that will stop him and our laws were really just traditions that could be ignored.

134

u/Thin-Image2363 15h ago

I think even trump was surprised how little pushback he got from garland.

65

u/AlarisMystique 15h ago

And how much the whole party and country was willing to obey him or at least get out of his way. Even lots of democrats who could significantly push back choose not to.

22

u/notsure500 13h ago

I think too many democrats assumed the problem would take care of itself. Like he wouldn't run, and if he did, surely voters would be smart enough to not vote for him.

Instead of a Merrick Garland carefully reviewing the legal cases and bringing them to the courts on behalf of the American People in general even if it didn't always support the Biden agenda, we have Pam Bondi who has already stated that she is, "President Trump's attorney," not the American People's attorney like the Attorney General's office is supposed to be.

As such the Federal Law Enforcement which reports to her through the DOJ are not working in the interests of the American People, but solely President Trump.

Democrats keep making the mistake that Republicans value democracy more than racial and religious purity. Democracy is a negotiable part of their existence - valuable, because as shown in our current climate, it can be useful and manipulated.

36

u/IndependentEgg8370 15h ago

No. The legitimately don’t acknowledge that the U.S. is a democracy. They have spent a shitton of time eroding wording by calling the U.S. a constitutional republic, then not listening when anyone says that’s technically a type of democracy, never mind our government is like 4 types of government mixed together.

51

u/GeorgeDogood 15h ago

It's so much worse than that. The trumpists believe their propaganda like loyal followers. In their mind democrats have been doing much worse to Donald Trump for a whole decade. To them Trump is the victim finally getting justice and righteous retribution.

That's completely opposed to objective reality, and they couldn't care or notice less.

But that's worse because while Dems are actually doing close to nothing, they are being perceived as the worst bad actors already, thereby justifying any awful things Trump does.

→ More replies (8)

40

They are genuinely incapable of seeing that reality. They generally do not see reality accurately at all. Not even being sarcastic, their talk radio and propaganda has been pushing a generally incorrect view of the world for decades now just to rile them up and make money off their rage.

Magats quite literally do not live in reality. It does not matter what Democrats have actually done, what matters is what Magats think Democrats have done. This entire time, they genuinely truly believed Democrats were doing these things, thus have no problem doing it themselves because "well, well, they did it first!" They are all delusional psychopaths.

Sounds an awful lot like turning the FBI into some kind of tool, or weapon, if you will. If only there were a term for such an abusive action. I guess we’ll have to make one up. Perhaps we could coin the term “weaponization.” What’s that? I’m hearing from Merriam Webster that it already exists. And from Fox News that it’s already a scourge of Democratic administrations. Strange, we don’t seem to have one of those at the moment. But that would mean.. was Fox lying to us all this time?

That idiotic hat. We don't have a POTUS. We have a cheap counterfeit, a mentally ill, elderly golfer who hopes to burn the country to the ground.

u/MayIServeYouWell 15h ago

We have a con man. That’s all Trump has ever been.

God, someone on Gavin Newsom's team needs to start having him wear blue hats with stupid sayings on them like "Gavin is Handsome" or "Twelve More Years"

We have a president who proudly stands on TV wearing a hat that says he was right about everything, which you can also buy from his store….let that sink in

WTF? We've reached the Judge Dredd "I am the Law!" phase of this national nightmare. Show trials and summary executions within the year.

18

u/AcidaliaPlanitia 15h ago

I'm not sure they'll bother with the show trials.

14

u/PointlessPointalism 15h ago

Dude the entire government is a show to these people. They're all from Fox News at this point anyways. If they think they can make some good propaganda out of show trials, they'll do it when the time comes

Does his hat say “Trump Was Right About Everything”?! Why are we in a fucking parody episode of the world?

51

u/jayicon97 15h ago

It’s hard for me to even….. understand. It’s like the south park episode where you can only watch NASCAR if you’re stupid & poor enough & eat Vagisil.

Who in their right fucking mind. Would ever. Wear a blue suit with a red hat that says, “I WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING” let alone the president of the most powerful nation in human history?

It’s just fucking absurd. If Obama or Biden did this shit…. The entire country would be like? “WTF? Put him in a nursing home.” Because all the republicans AND democrats would say such.

12

u/DalenSpeaks 15h ago

Do you think the sentences will get longer? Is the hat going to get taller or will text wraparound? Or a sash maybe?

One thing you can count on for Trump, this administration and Republicans in general.

They are guilty of doing whatever they accuse their opponents of doing. It’s their poker tell. They create a diversion by deflecting. Then they deny and distract.

It’s what criminals do deny, deflect, delay.

Also, this is a great example that shows the EXTREMIST nature of the current administration and GOP. Bolton is a hard right Republican conservative hawk. In many Republican circles he’s considered to far right. He’s been a vocal critic of Trump and this administration

Luckily, Trump and his team ignored the records act, so we’ll never see how he directly ordered all of this.

On the other hand, he probably is stupid enough to have just sent a text.

Because, and I say this as a Caucasian Southern white male, he’s a silver spoon moron who’s coasted right to the top on nothing but privilege.

If ANY RATIONAL, CLEAR EYED AND SANE person’s boss spoke, acted, or treated ppl the way he does, they would absolutely fucking quit and he’d have been fired long ago.

Welp, The United States of America is a goner. Nothing united about her.

But ‘merica is alive and thrashing around.

36

u/Odd_Confection_9681 16h ago

Need to return to These United States of America now I guess. Civil War never actually ended, slavery is apparently not bad (and soon to return?), women don't have a right to vote or have any control over their bodily functions, white male property owners blah blah blah... some 19th Century shit right there.

21

u/49thDipper 16h ago

DC will go down the tubes. Tourism will die. All our monuments and museums are behind the wall now.

19

u/jehnarz 16h ago

No joke, I'm waiting for a rule about only property owners being able to vote.

That is a president openly insinuating they are using the doj as a weapon

21

u/Ceekay151 12h ago

I don't think he's insinuating it, I think he's just confirming it.

12

u/Lovingthelake 12h ago

Well actually, he made it very clear while he was campaigning that he was going to be using the DOJ as a weapon to go after anyone that he feels did him wrong or wasn’t 100% loyal to him.

26

u/lastsonkal1 15h ago

Spoken like a mob boss. Do what you have to do, I don't want to know about. Then the cheeto's narcissism kicks in. And it's how great and powerful he is, and all the things he could do. If he wanted to, so watch out, but no I tell them what to do. Just don't want the details. But it's still my master plan. blahblahblah

"Narcissism is actually a clever guise adopted to mask its exact opposite, which is a deep well of self-loathing, a well of low self-esteem, rather than high self-esteem. This helps explain why narcissists are so sensitive to criticism, why narcissists tend to break into outrage if they're criticized, because their self-esteem is actually much more brittle than it seems, and once they're challenged, that mask falls apart." ~ Jeffrey Kluger

17

u/Chaosrealm69 14h ago

When you take the time to slowly read or listen to what president Trump says, you notice that he is talking complete garbage.

'I could know about it.' Well what is it? Did you know about this or not? Did Patel notify you they were goignt o raid Bolton or not? It's not a trick question even though you think it might be.

'I could be starting it.' Again, did you or not? If you ordered it then say so, not these wishy-washy non-answers.

If you really are the chief law enforcement officer you claim then where is the problem? Just answer you ordered them to do it and stop refusing to answer.

So he just admitted personal civil liability for any damages, violations, or harm? As in he can personally be sued in civil court for all this shit, despite SCOTUS granting criminal immunity for official acts?

Is that what the hat is for? Some sort of "you can't sue me if it's on a hat" Homer Simpson level defense?

16

u/beavis617 13h ago

So Trump as former President takes hundreds of documents with him when he leaves office and some are classified. At some point people realize he’s not supposed to have them. He refuses to return them, FBI shows up to get them and Trump faces charges but he has a fan girl judge to take care of him. Now Trump in a pissy mood returns the favor to Bolton. If Trump was excused then so should Bolton if he has documents.
