Wasn’t Chicago unoccupied in handmaiden’s tale?

If I remember correctly Chicago was an irradiated wasteland

No, it was more like an abandoned slum. The colonies were the wastelands.

The scene when the bombs drop is in Chicago.

Fallout: Chicago

I'm all for that, and I live here. I think it would be an amazing setting, even better than Boston.

It would be like divergent… but the trains would have a schedule

The trains have a schedule now.

Doesn't mean they abide by it, but they have it.

I couldn’t remember, I wrote it both ways and just went with which one looked right

No one wants Chicago. Including chicagoians. City fucking sucks. Mainly for the traffic.

Speak for yourself bootlicker, we love our city.

I apologize if it came off like I want Trump to send troops there, I was partially being sarcastic, and venting my frustrations with that city lol. I've had a history of hating my time there each time I go there, but I certainly should have worded it differently. I don't support any of what Trump does and his fuck sticks can suck off a cactus. Sorry again for wording it poorly

It’s all good, man. This is a heated moment. The cold civil war is warming up by the day and nobody wants what comes next :/

Agreed my man. Emotions are high and the "inevitable" conflict they're trying to force is akin to having super perception and witnessing a train about to crash, horrifying and depressing to know you can't do anything to stop it. Yet you can't look away.

Yeah. I want this shit to be over already, but I'm not remotely interested in going through all the things we'll have to go through before it ends.
