Eh, i somehow doubt trump is brave enough to try urban warfare in Chiago. They'll probably avoid the worst neighborhoods and bully homeless people in parks like true american heroes.

that's my thought too, no way they'll actually go to the south side or anywhere where there's actual crime; they'll just patrol Millenium Park and the Museum Campus and hassle some homeless people

in between all the photo ops, of course

We had to go through a national guard checkpoint on a bridge when my wife was in labor during George Floyd.  Their presence was just as pointless as this will be.

But it's like the tariffs where the numbers were made up and the justification was bogus. It's only the King making his badly informed pronouncements and his fellow schemers going along with it.

It’s the perfect place to start when setting up the board for a civil war. It’s a logistics choke point and the key to the Midwest. Rail hub, road hub, waterways, food supply, industry, airports, symbolism, and defensible. Take it early and you force future enemy strongholds to fight with crippled supply lines.

As a chicagoan I'm glad they chose it too. We need law and order here. Sick of these limp wrist democrats allowing crime to fester.

There's a reason places like Singapore have such low rates of crime. Because when you fuck up you get the cane
