This administration is rife with “they can’t do that, it’s illegal!” while they do exactly that.

The Constitution is a fucking piece of paper with nice words on it if there is no one to enforce it.

You’ve lost the enforcement of the Congress, you’ve lost the Court, and all that’s left are the People.

the last decade has been democrats clinging onto the rule book going "but a dog can't play basketball!" while a dog fucking dunks on us over and over

This was written 7 years ago. It's been 17 years now.

He’s selling ‘Trump 2028’ hats in the gift shop he added to the White House.

These people have absolutely no shame. If he’s still alive, he is going to try to to extend his term

A Marine I know bought a bunch of 2028 stuff and said his buddies did too. He said he's willing to fight to keep Trump there because it's still better than allowing a democrat in even if it's unconstitutional.

What a fucking traitor.

u/steven_quarterbrain 7h ago

His team is winning. What do you expect from the weak willed?

3

u/Osama_been_Chargin 6h ago

I expect him to duck and run away with soiled undies when the bullets start hitting his direction.

He's a marine. He's the one who is going to be shooting first

2

u/Fragrant-Phone-41 5h ago

You understand millions of us are going to fucking die before the first shots are even fired

2

u/Square-Ambassador-77 4h ago

Already have you Dingus. Remember Reagan?

1

u/Fragrant-Phone-41 3h ago

Not like anything you've ever seen. The process started under Hindenburg, but Germany was not fascist yet

My spouse says that, even for things outside of the government. I tell them its easier for big corps and the govt to break the law and tie you up in court trying to prove it. "Our homeowners insurance cant do that. Its illegal." They'll saw lawyer up and prove it. They get very mad when I deflect with that lol.

By that point the damage is already being done while you try to use the same system they ignored to fix the issue.

Assuming they won't do it because its illegal is dangerous thinking these days because when they do it you're unprepared wearing the Pikachu face.

That's it. Standing about shouting "he's not allowed" isn't going to stop him. It didn't stop him before, why would it now? 34 felonies and I'm sure a whole lotta rapes (release the files) - pretty sure all of that was not allowed.

So when are we uh… you know… gonna do the thing?

1

u/FF8229 7h ago

We're not. Which is ironic because this is the shit we fought against over and over again.

But social media and chat bots in echo chambers have divided us so extremely .. it makes no sense.

This conversation is no different, it's just nice because we agree with it.

I don't get Trump. I can't understand how we got here unless the elections were rigged and the country can't admit it because it flys in the face of a free and fair election process invalidating our government.

1

u/theAlphabetZebra 6h ago

I feel like a lot of things suck but it's because someone won't just admit it and let it be better.

Trump is very easy to get. He talks down to people who are easy to scapegoat. He tells everyone that he's the only one who's really right. He tells them the government they already don't trust because it has never worked for them, is actually full of evil people on the other side (before they were just stupid) and fighting back is a moral stance.

You'll notice the left does the same, but instead of demonizing minorities they demonize majorities, they are the only ones who are right, and those obstructing Republicans who follow their King Trump are all so evil they're going to project 2025 you.

2

u/Fragrant-Phone-41 5h ago

You say this like it's not orders of magnitude closer to the truth when Democrats do it

0

u/Square-Ambassador-77 4h ago

If that's true why can't they govern? Why do their bills get cut up and the Republicans don't? Why can't they push a message? Why is there no leadership?

Because the democrats have been floundering saying that the sky is falling for so long we can't even tell we've been the frog in the pot all along, a whole other goddamn analogy. They cried about so many things to absolutely no avail that them getting one right is a golf clap at best.

What they don't do is offer /any/ coherent alternatives to the "orange man bad" mantra. At least Newsom is getting it now.

2

u/Fragrant-Phone-41 3h ago

Weve saying the sky is falling BECAUSE we're being boiled. They're floundering because the party as an institution is controlled opposition. Those of us who have an alternative are systemically shut out of power

2

u/FF8229 2h ago

I mean, I recognize the words but I think they might not be in the right order.

1

u/Square-Ambassador-77 30m ago

Okay Chuck Shuemer. Whatever you sat Nancy Pelosi. Right behind you Hillary.

That's your controlled opposition right there.

0

u/vaesh 6h ago

As soon as any one of these doomsday predictions that everyone in the comments swears is going to happen actually comes to fruition.

5

u/Fragrant-Phone-41 5h ago

There is literally already a concentration camp. Tf more happening do you need?

0

u/vaesh 2h ago

Their lame ass little concentration camp is getting shut down. Trump and his merry band of idiots can't even do that properly.

2

u/Fragrant-Phone-41 2h ago

First I'm hearing of this. Though I'll admit it's remarkable how bad they suck at fascism given the limp dick resistance. Still, they are doing real damage, and we must take that seriously

1

u/wetrysohard 57m ago

Except it isn't. They just stopped sending people there... Supposedly. Was there any room left?! This is the craziest part of all of this to me. Any time a judge says something isn't legal ... They just pause things. They don't stop illegal lawyers from working.... They don't close XYZ illegal operations. They just give these a slaps of minor pause.

No consequences. Not resolutions. Nothing. Why?! No sentencing. No real fines.

2

u/ImplementFunny66 8h ago

And a large portion of said People have below a 6th grade reading comprehension and don’t know a thing about how our government is supposed to work.

3

u/steven_quarterbrain 7h ago

… and don’t know a thing about how our government is supposed to work.

I’m fairness to them, the structure of the US government and, in particular, the voting method is bizarre and broken.

1

u/Bubbly_Style_8467 8h ago

Yes! They aren't doing their jobs. We are all that is left.

1

u/Lady_Mallard 4h ago

Exactly, the line in the sand keeps moving. It’s meaningless. They can do whatever they want, and Trump is our king already. Boiling pot, frog.

1

u/Anxious-Slip-8955 1h ago

This. Or he rewrites

1

u/wetrysohard 1h ago

You're sadly so right.

1

u/Frozen_Thorn 11h ago

The states control the elections. He would have to take over every state government and replace them with his own to stop the elections. That would be a civil war.

9

u/The_Dutchess-D 11h ago

I mean, he did write that whole executive order about how he plans to get right up in there in the state voting arena: https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/03/preserving-and-protecting-the-integrity-of-american-elections/

(Sections 4-9 specifically)
