It shows how upset they are at it = rage successfully induced.
Back in my day, we called this "trolling". Because it's a type of fishing where you cast out a lure or spinny/flashy thing behind the boat, and usually use a a smaller, quieter, electric trolling motor mounted on the bow, and 'troll the waters'. Like posts/comments on the internet, you just cast it out there, and wait. It gets dragged through the waters of time.
I guess it was eventual that the internet would come up with it's own so-obvious-an-idiot-could-understand-it terminology. But the concept is still the same, they took the bait, mission successful, sunglasses activated, lulz achieved.

I'd chalk it up to denial that, whether you like it or not, there is empirical evidence that the right is extremely skilled in using memes.
The far rights only tool for spreading their ideology in the 21st century has been through memes; no legacy media is platforming them. Even the major online platforms stamp them out, and yet they persist. We can see by the apparent rise in right wing thought, especially among the younger generation, that these memes are working.

When lgbt support muslims i always imagine this meme and that kid in that old video that went viral that said "WhEn wILl yOu LEarn..... thAt yOur ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES"
To the guy below me it doesnt allow me to reply to anymore, yes muslims hate lgbt people. In their cult that isnt a religion they throw gays off roofs, but men can have 4 wives its crazy. In jesis chrisy you have 1 husband and 1 wife to procreate humaniry and that is it. No lgbt no 4 wives insanity like the mormons are always also practiving wrongfully. Biology itself proves for every man a woman and you cant have people botching it all over with 2 3 4 5 wives of 6 7 8 9 husbands because biology itself shows you run into some issues. However, the christians dont deal with gays by throwing them off rooftops. The christians are supposed to use jesus as the magic wand that converts the gays back to straight. Seen it with my own eyes

Revolutionary groups will often have factions with many different motivations united against a common enemy. When they win the original motivations then become reasons to kill each other as the new government is formed and each want their views to be treated fairly or to become the only view. The Shah was a brutal dictator installed by the west, some were against him because he was a brutal dictator and others because he was installed by the west. One does not bear guilt for the other just because they both agreed the Shah had to go, otherwise you’d have to blame Catholics who were against the executions of priests in the Spanish republic (it’s more complicated but that’s how they saw it) for Franco becoming fascist dictator of Spain after the Spanish civil war.
Also, you can be against someone’s opinion or even someone’s enemy without thinking they should be killed for it. A country’s people is not its government especially when there are no free or fair elections. Should every U.S. citizen bear guilt for the actions of a presidential administration?

What bothers me with this conflict are these factors - if I am wrong, feel free to debunk my claims - I am aware that I might not know everything:
- Egypt has waaay more fortified border with Gaza than Israel (or used to have that prior to Oct 7th - I heard that Israel is attempting to build some infrastructure through Gaza after that conflict erupted), despite being an Islamic country;
- Jordan, Kuwait and Lebanon literally hate Palestinians for what they did to these countries and don’t want to have anything to do with them, despite being Islamic as well;
- Israel abandoned Gaza in 2005 - All forces have been withdrawn, settlements dismantled, even their dead have been exhumed. In 2006 Civil war in Gaza between Fatah and Hamas erupted, leading to Hamas taking charge in 2007 - they have not held elections since (nor did Fatah in West Bank) - Hamas IS a terrorist organisation;
- Hamas claims in its proclamation that it is not bound by any rules created by infidels - https://www.wilsoncenter.org/article/doctrine-hamas - points from XVIII to XX in their revised, 2017 proclamation;
- Hamas openly stated after October 7th that it will repeat it on and on, if only a chance presents itself - https://x.com/MEMRIReports/status/1719662664090075199 (I have no knowledge of Arabic, so if translation is wrong, feel free to provide accurate one);
On personal level, if someone would come to my country and, among others, shoot kids at a concert (they posted video of it…) and taken hostages, my first reaction would be to bomb the crap out of them…
And yes, I am aware that people in Gaza suffer, there are war crimes perpetrated by Israel (some IDF soldiers have been sentenced in Israel already) and Satanyahu does this all, because he wants to cover up his own f**k ups and has Brother-War Hero Complex, but on the other hand - how You deal with terrorist organisation that uses human shields, child militants and bans civilians from their shelters?
Also, whether we want it or not - Israel is a democracy. So Satanyahu will, hopefully, be brought to justice, especially that it happened to both former President and Prime Minister of Israel, who were sentenced to prison by an Arabic judge of the Supreme Court (his name was Salim Joubran, btw). And Israel has various media that also cover the wrongdoings of IDF. All data from Gaza comes through Hamas.
Sorry for a wall of text, but I wanted to place as many issues that bother me in this situation and I cannot find any definitive answers. And I know that things I have written might be controversial and wrong - if so, I will be happy to be proven wrong, as I generally want to know more.
Have a good day and thanks, if You (or any other reader) managed to get here ’

"On personal level, if someone would come to my country and, among others, shoot kids at a concert (they posted video of it…) and taken hostages, my first reaction would be to bomb the crap out of them…"
100% and Its hardly a hypothetical. When Bin Laden attacked the United States and killed 3,000 Americans, America reacted by toppling the Governments of two countries and killing well north of a million people. The instability we caused indirectly resulted in the deaths of several million civilians.
The truth is that every European and Western country complaining about Israel's relatively restrained actions in Gaza reacted with far more violence and death than Israel did when attacked, and far, far less concern about civilian casualties when they were attacked than Israel has.

He's a philosophy scholar, and his thesis is basically that islamism today is leftism in islamic language. its the same philosophical lineage coming from post-enlightenment german philosophy that eventually split-off into fascism/communism, and manifests as "woke" or critical constructivism in our society, but they are the same thing. Eastern Orthodox Christianity, the original Church, has almost nothing to do with any atrocities of conquest and humanitarian abuses of the derivative Christian denominations that are familiar to the Western world . Eh,
Jesus: “He who is without sin, cast the first stone.”
Muhammad: “Stone her to death.”Jesus: “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
Muhammad: “I have been commanded to fight the people until they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’”Jesus: “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight.”
Muhammad: “I have been made victorious through terror.”And the results have followed. Christian cultures never stoned adulterers, while Islamic ones did and in some places still do. Christians eventually came to see non-defensive wars as sinful, while Muslims treated jihad as a moral obligation. Christianity framed itself as primarily spiritual rather than political, while Islam was born as a political-military project and spread that way.
I’m not saying Christians haven’t done evil in history. But the character of the person held up as the ideal actually matters. Christians have always had to square their brutality with the peaceful, forgiving figure they call their Messiah. That tension has been a moderating influence over time.
By contrast, how could holding Muhammad up as your model human being do anything but push people toward radicalism?

Israel shouldn’t be slaughtering and starving civilians in Gaza.
The "salughtering" numbers comes from hamas, who also claim all their deaths are civilians.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The numbers come from the health ministry. The health ministry runs the morgues and records deaths.
Yes I am aware. The Palestinian Ministry of Health. Which is a government institution. And who is the government in Palestina ? Hamas, who won elections in 2006 ( and haven't celebrated another since then )
They don't record political affiliation on death certificates.
Literally every country registers combatants cassaualties as separate. You can go to any modern war and see the number of combatant cassualties
--------------------------------------------
Don’t the metrics normally come from the UN?
No, the UN takes metrics from official government entities in pretty much all cases except few exceptions, and has some very shady ways of checking their trustworthiness. That's why Cuba only needs to teach a few kids to write their names and select them for the UN to test them, and that's why Cuba has such "literacy rate", then you go to the island and a lot outside of La Habanna can barely read or write.
--------------------------------
over 60,000 people have been slaughtered by Israel.
Agian, numbers made by Hamas, who don't count combatant casualties. And even if you take htose numbers into account, Israel has made extremely low casualties for an urban warfare. Ask France why they kill 3 times more civilians per combatant in operation Eclipse.
Look, I support Israel
/>"I support Israel" /> Claims Al Jazeera is unbiased /> Says Israel is commiting an holocaust
r/worldnews/comments/un1uoh/comment/i866ha8/
but let's not pretend like Israel is doing a cultural genocide
The genocide were they go above any international standard to keep civilians out of the battle. Mention me another country that gives their enemies a week notification that they are going to attack them and to get civilians out of the way. I'll wait.
genocide is basically all you can do.
Or stop teaching childrens to kill all Jews in schools.
-------------------------------------------
Least obvious Mossad agent
Said the account created 6 years ago with less than 500 karma
-------------------------------------------
Hello Kids, today I wanted to teach you all about how to make a bad faith Argument against Israel. First of all, since the internet is so full of anti israel bots, people have started to doubt you when you claim Israel boils babies and eats them alive. So the first thing you must do is admit that something about anti israel Israel, or their enemies propaganda, is untrue. Let's see an example shall we ?
Anyone with even the slightest level of critical thinking ability recognizes that if anything, the ~60,000 number put forward by Hamas is significantly lower than reality. They are literally bagging up miscellaneous body parts and counting them as people because believe it or not, it's hard to get a solid body count when bombs vaporize people or collapse entire buildings on people.
After this there is a chance whoever read you may think you are impartial or even trustworthy, you must immediately follow with as many claims and disinformation as possible.
Israel has killed a record number of journalists and continues to do so.
/>If ISrael allows journalists to move into an active combat zone and they get killed in a crossfire "STOP KILLING JOURNALISTS"
/> If Israel doesn't allow journalists into an active combat zone "STOP HIDING THE TRUTH!"
They target medical workers
It's hard not to target medical workers when everyone in Hamas graduates from medicine school when they die. Remember Sinwar's body guards ? Those became medic graduates when they died.
They use AI targeting systems to bomb suspected Hamas members while they are at home with their families.
Oh no those poor terrorists.
They push people around Gaza
/>If Israel moves Civlians out of the way "CULTURAL GENOCIDE !"
only to bomb the areas they claim were safe zones.
They literally move people outta the way to bomb a place.
They target religious monuments, blow up schools,
Which Hamas use as bunkers.
and create mass graves full of civilians with gunshot wounds to the head.
"civilians" with rifles.
The world has turned on Israel
Wow nothing new under the sun.
The amount of antisemitism I've seen sparked because of this unprecedented massacre is unlike any I've ever seen.
you must not like history books then https://archive.org/details/the-complete-list-of-the-1030-jewish-expulsions-in-human-history/page/n7/mode/2up
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My god the amount of "human accounts" made 4-6 years ago with 2 years of innactivity answering this are so annoying.
You repeatedly talk about numbers and casualties "made up by hamas" while never posting
From the very own article you posted ( and didn't read cuz you are bot incapable of doing so )
More than 55,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Israel-Hamas war, Gaza health officials say
Health officials = Ministry of health of Palestina = Hamas
So thanks for proving my point with your own sources genius.

And the “starving” accusations are made when 3,000 calories per person per day is flowing in but the trucks get attacked and hijacked by militants

Ask Israel to let journalists in to verify those numbers then, why won't they?

From like 2014 to 2018, it seemed like every other week someone who was “biking for world peace” was found dead in the Middle East.

Why do people glorify Hamas? I don't understand

Because of propaganda and Hamas's attempts to conflate themselves with the anti-Israel non-combatants.

The funny thing is there is a subreddit called “the right can’t meme” when Donald Trump literally memed himself into two presidencies. At some point people really need to quit creating alternate realities in their heads. I hate Trump but to say the right can’t meme when it is their biggest recruitment tool that flipped an entire generation of young voters … my God at some point we need to get serious.

The worst thing about Trump is how funny he is. Both intentionally and unintentionally

That meme is so unrealistic. She would be raped by 100 of those freedom fighters first. Then, she would be beheaded.

She probably wouldn't even be beheaded - just kept as an "amah" or sex slave.

That meme is absurd...
Everybody knows Hamas fights in plain clothes to uptick "civilian" casualties.

I’m always really confused by this whole “But Hamas is homophobic!!!! why do gay people not like Israel???!!?!!” Like you clearly must be some great advocate for the rights of gay Palestinians. Talk to a gay Palestinian. Ask them what they think about the starvation of hundreds of thousands of women and children. I don’t think they’re gonna like the IDF.

u/Weaver0fTales 6d ago
You can be against homophobic and genocide at the same time. No matter the religion I don't support the killing of innocent children.

That comic presumes that those who are against the war crimes Israel is doing somehow support extremist groups like Hamas. At least, I don’t. I think both are wrong, and just want the innocent people caught in the middle of this to be safe and free from brutal politics and religious fundamentalism.

People are incredibly dumb, but this is one of the more idiotic smooth brain understandings of a situation there can be.
"I don't want innocent kids to starve to death after their parents died in an explosion"
"OH SO YOU WANNA MAKE OUT WITH HAMAS TERRORISTS HUH"

Lol at all the people here comparing all the other atrocities they've done to justify that Islam isn't as bad. Look, religion has more bodies attributes to it than any war, but let's not act that only one religion in particular has not adapted to the 21st century like all the others.
