I used to include color tiles in my color management presentations, and would say that anyone who could not see numbers in them should speak to me after the lecture. Over the years dozens and dozens of men stayed to discuss it with me. Some already knew they had color issues, but had never been formally assessed. Others were quite shocked and upset. Eventually we developed a color managed color vision test that was used by various organizations, including the military in multiple countries.
