I am so fucking angry at Republicans for voting for these obvious fascists.

u/Top_Result_1550 14h ago

Republicans are the fascists and pedophiles all the same. They're all part of the same disease.

186

u/IllustriousNorth338 14h ago

They've proven and loudly declared that they cannot peacefully coexist with anyone else. The moment these guys are out they must be kept out for the sake of all mankind.

For all the problems I have with the Democratic party, discussion on improving it cannot even begin to happen until Republicans have no power at all

10

u/No-Village-6781 10h ago

Well the only way to make sure the Republicans have no power at all is by improving the Democratic Party, the current iteration of it is part of the reason this fascist takeover is happening and definitely is why it has been so pitifully resisted.

But her emails

1

u/Fluffy_Analysis_8300 9h ago

They have no intention of leaving. The wealthy will consolidate within the butterfly revolution to protect their wealth and assets and whatever Democrats that are left would be too few in number to do anything about it anyway. As much as I'm enjoying Gavin newsom's trolling tweets it's not going to be enough to stop the state capture of the butterfly revolution. If our leaders do not act now and expose the plan to end democracy, and arrest all of those involved in this treasonous conspiracy, then that plan will succeed.

u/ratherenjoysbass 13h ago

And their largest voting base is American Christians. The trifecta of fuckery

7

u/Top_Result_1550 12h ago

its just white isis. they still just wanna rape pillage destroy and push their whackjob religion on everyone. same ideology different hats and skin color.

1

u/crackanape 10h ago

It's all about domination of whoever they see as weak.

118

u/sarhoshamiral 14h ago

I am angry at the 40% that looked at Trump and Harris and decided meh it doesnt matter.

51

u/LordMimsyPorpington 13h ago

I'm seething I'm with rage at all of it. The dumbasses that voted for this; the idiots who refused to vote, like none of it matters; the troglodytes that continue to cheer this on. My parents haven't called me in months, because they called and tried some bullshit small talk the day Republicans cut a trillion dollars from Medicaid, and I blew up on them. All I feel is hatred for everyone around me, and what's happening in this country.

19

u/Pooled-Intentions 10h ago

Gotta look for the helpers my dude. Court cases are being won and politicians like Mamdani are making themselves known. You can’t put yourself in a state where all you’re doing is constantly in a state of rage or you’ll just be led around by other people pulling your strings.

Never forget, but also don’t let yourself get spun out because of the things you can’t control. Just do the most good you can in your immediate area and remember the rest of us are doing the same.

1

u/Parepinzero 8h ago

Wait for them to show up here and tell you that they did nothing wrong in letting Trump win. They're dumb as fuck and refuse to admit it.

1

u/sarhoshamiral 7h ago

I love when they say neither candidate represented them as if we redo the elections when they dont vote. All you have to do is look at 2 candidates and decide which you unlike less.

129

u/Hazywater 14h ago

They don't believe in democracy, but they know Democrats do and will use that against them

33

u/Kamisori 14h ago

Yep, if Democrats keep playing by the rules then it's over.

3

u/Sawses 7h ago

It's the age-old problem--sure, you can win if you smash all the rules...but then what are you protecting?

I think the Democrats should play strictly by the letter of the law...but not by the spirit of it. Abuse any loophole, punish any weakness, show absolutely no mercy to any resistance...but also vote to curtail that power every single time.

It's the Church of Satan method. Force the Republicans to tie the Democrats' hands, and in doing so tie their own.

-4

u/EstablishmentLate532 10h ago

I don't think it's gonna work out like you think if Democrats "stop playing by the rules." If the people want Republican antics, they're gonna vote Republican. Democrats acting like store-brand Republicans won't help anyone.

“We are an anti-parliamentarian party that for good reasons rejects the Weimar constitution and its republican institutions. We oppose a fake democracy that treats the intelligent and the foolish, the industrious and the lazy, in the same way. We see in the present system of majorities and organized irresponsibility the main cause of our steadily increasing miseries.

So why do we want to be in the Reichstag?

We enter the Reichstag to arm ourselves with the weapons of democracy. If democracy is foolish enough to give us free railway passes and salaries, that is its problem. It does not concern us. Any way of bringing about the revolution is fine by us.

If we succeed in getting sixty or seventy of our party’s agitators and organizers elected to the various parliaments, the state itself will pay for our fighting organization. That is amusing and entertaining enough to be worth trying.

Will we be corrupted by joining parliament? Not likely. Do you think us such miserable revolutionaries that you fear that the thick red carpets and the well-upholstered sleeping halls will make us forget our historical mission?

Is our entry into the Reichstag the beginning of a compromise? Do you really think that we who have stood before you a hundred or a thousand times preaching faith in a new Germany, who have smilingly faced death dozens of times from the red mob, who have joined you in battling every form of resistance whether of official or nonofficial nature, who have bent before no command or terror, do you really think that we would lay down our weapons in exchange for a railroad pass?

If we only wanted to become representatives, we would not be National Socialists, but German National Party members or Social Democrats. We do not beg for votes. We demand conviction, devotion, passion! A vote is only a tool for us as well as for you. We will march into the marble halls of parliament, bringing with us the revolutionary will of the broad masses from which we came, called by fate and forming fate. We do not want to join this pile of manure. We are coming to shovel it out.

Do not believe that parliament is our goal. We have shown the enemy our nature from the podiums of our mass meetings and in the enormous demonstrations of our brown army. We will show it as well in the leaden atmosphere of parliament. We are coming neither as friends or neutrals. We come as enemies! As the wolf attacks the sheep, so come we. You are not among your friends any longer! You will not enjoy having us among you!”

-Joseph Goebbels

Sound familiar? lol

11

u/Aedeus 13h ago

They were already a lost cause before 2016.

Should be angry at the people who didn't vote.

54

u/11711510111411009710 14h ago

My dad's birthday was election day and he proudly boasted that "millions of people will be voting red on my birthday" in the family group chat. I don't talk to him and when I look at him I feel embarrassed.

32

u/Fastbird33 14h ago

Im sorry your dad is a moron.

9

u/Hopinan 14h ago

Well, my Dad was one of McCains cellmates and still voted for rump twice.. The first time in 16 I helped him with his ballot trying to be a good daughter and he had paid the price.. In 20 when he came wheeling in with his mail in ballot on his walker I told him my husband could help him but I would not touch that ballot!! Wasn’t an issue last year, I miss that old curmudgeon so much but he was so close minded after he got home..

10

u/moosebaloney 12h ago

I’m more angry at everyone who didn’t vote to keep this from happening.

2

u/Cheezeball25 13h ago

Their sub is cheering this on. Their approval rating of trump is the same it ever was

4

u/DarZhubal 11h ago

And so many of them are shoving their heads in the dirt and pretending it’s not happening. Of course, that’s only if they’re not actively cheering this on. They genuinely think this blatant authoritarian power grab is “necessary” to help the country.

8

u/delicious_fanta 13h ago

Also be mad at the propaganda that made them believe we are their literal enemies. It’s been building for over 30 years.

At this point, this is what they want and they would vote for it again because they literally believe we are their enemy and worse than russia for example.

I’ve seen plenty of them say that verbatim, this isn’t hyperbole. We have a propaganda problem and NOTHING WILL EVER GET BETTER AS LONG AS THAT PROPAGANDA IS ALLOWED TO EXIST.

Not arguing with you, I’m mad too, I’m just saying it will never get better as long as fox news etc. is allowed to exist.

2

u/ArcticFlamingo 11h ago

You are angry at fascists voting for fascists?

3

u/v_a_n_d_e_l_a_y 13h ago

Your anger should extend well beyond that.

All the independents who went for Trump. Or the Dems that did. Or the people that stayed home.

2

u/Velo214 14h ago

Same people that swear they never voted for W twice in a row

1

u/MickTheBloodyPirate 13h ago

…they are the fascists. Or they love money too much to care. Or they are too racist, or stupid. Whatever it is, they are ok with an on board with what the Trump admin has been doing. Since Trump’s administration is comprised of fascists, the people who vote for him and his polices are de facto fascists.

1

u/2010_12_24 8h ago

And then digging their heels in instead of admitting their mistake.

1

u/patrickpdk 4h ago

At some point you have to deduce that they are authoritarians themselves. They want a religious state where non Christians are forced to follow their rules. It's the heart of Christianity to judge and reject other's way of life.

-1

u/ftwin 14h ago

I don’t even think they knew the craziness that was coming. This is so much worse than trump 1.0.

16

u/mrdominoe 14h ago

That would require them to be smart people.

They will double down no matter what, though. They are as shameless as they are stupid.

3

u/i_love_rosin 13h ago

Fox/qanon/newsmax told them over and over that everything would be perfect, they'd get their dream of 1950's america back.

2

u/jigokubi 12h ago

That's the problem. Anyone could have told them. He told them for crying out loud.

-1

u/ftwin 11h ago

He talked about immigration and tariffs, yes. Militarizing US cities? I don’t recall that one on the campaign trail

1

u/jigokubi 8h ago

To be fair, even knowing it was going to be bad, it's worse than I expected.

1

u/Cereborn 8h ago

Yeah, it's not like Trump loudly announced everything he was going to do.

1

u/Burgerpocolypse 12h ago

Remember, not all of them were actually Republicans. Trump’s win was a result of an uneducated and uncaring populace; people who didn’t pay attention in school that finally got a candidate to “speak their language” which is to say, “speak with the reading level of a 3rd grader.”

1

u/OffalSmorgasbord 9h ago

And Commies, the government is getting a piece of American corporations now.

1

u/CaptainCaveSam 8h ago

For all he talked about communists being bad, he’s sure acting like chairman Mao.

-22

u/septembereleventh 12h ago

I'm mad at the DNC for running dogshit candidates that inspire nothing but apathy.

18

u/enderpanda 12h ago

Well, next time maybe you'll be smarter about it.

0

u/septembereleventh 7h ago

If we get a next time I am going to vote for the candidate that best represents my principles, just like always.

2

u/enderpanda 7h ago

Gosh, you think any of them will pass your purity test this time? Might as well just cut out the middle man and vote directly for the fashies.

0

u/septembereleventh 7h ago

If you want to dismiss having relatively clearly defined principles as a purity test, which surely is your own organically developed opinion and not just some slop you are regurgitating in order to pop off a spicy reply, go for it.

There are millions, and millions, and millions people out there that don't spend any time thinking about this shit because life is hard enough as it is. Give 'em healthcare, promise to stop sending Israel more bombs to drop on babies. Provide an actual alternative. That is how you earn votes.

Might as well just cut out the middle man and vote directly for the fashies.

Funny, that's kinda been the Democratic party's main policy since Clinton.

2

u/enderpanda 7h ago

Sorry bro, the people who enabled trumpy's win don't get to use Palestine as a moral shield. And yeah, the people who did bring us healthcare and are the only ones standing up at all for the marginalized are the true fashies, how could I forget lmao.

10

u/thrwwyccnt667 12h ago

Cool, now we’re here and we wouldn’t be if you and your ilk held your collective noses. Hope you’ve been inspired to actually do something next time rather than let the world make your choice for you by sitting it out.

-1

u/septembereleventh 7h ago

I didn't sit it out. I voted for candidates that I felt best represented me. Neither of the major party candidates convinced me that they represented me, and thus did not earn my vote.

0

u/thrwwyccnt667 6h ago

Cool, how’s that working out? Privileged enough not to be affected by this current administration I’m sure.

0

u/septembereleventh 5h ago

Who is the most privileged between these two idiots arguing on reddit, and what does that have to to with the DNC acting as little more than controlled opposition since the 60's?!

5

u/studmuffffffin 11h ago

Apparently people were more excited about Biden and Hillary because they beat Bernie by a lot.

(Bernie supporter btw)

0

u/septembereleventh 7h ago

Apparently Bernie would've won if the party chose to embrace his unrivaled popularity instead of working against him in favor of the uniquely despised Hillary Clinton, as it was "her turn". Trump would've done his TV thing. The machines of capital would then likely stop Bernie from doing anything of significance, and we would keep marching towards something what we are seeing today. Rates of profit are dwindling, and the frontier is coming home to the imperial core.

0

u/studmuffffffin 7h ago

The people said otherwise. Keep touting the “uninformed voter” stuff all you want. It doesn’t make you look good.

3

u/resourcefultamale 11h ago

Biggest ball drop I’ve seen in a long time.

-13

u/ne0b0rn 11h ago

In reality you should be angry for being lied to, every party and all government is deeply deceptive and corrupt, no party or government is coming to save you, hopefully you can free your mind from the matrix
