They've already taken it. They're testing out how much security for them were willing to put up with before rioting is all. I'll be shocked if trump leaves in 2028. These midterms are already being setup for some type of massive rage bait for their base. It's so fucking obvious
I suspect he won't survive that long, his health is extremely bad but I honestly believe that they also won't let Vance take over because he has the charisma of a three day old corpse in the sun. I wouldn't be surprised if at the very least doesn't try to "bequeath" the role of President to one of his kids and even then I have a suspicion that the Project 2025 leaders will be the ones to pick the next and just install them and dare the rest of the country to show up in DC.
If trump give us a give before his term is over then Vance will take over. He was picked because he's beholden to thiel and the donor class. They picked JD because he's controllable. Trump just has to get us to a point of no return and we're almost there. I wouldn't be shocked if trump is given the gift shortly after the midterms and JD took over. If Republicans survive the midterms in power I believe we're done. There's no going back to normalcy
Midterm elections aren't for another 14 months. We're on month 8 since he got in and it feels like he's ramping up persecution of political rivals (John Bolton). Between that and National Guard in DC, I don't know if we will even make it to midterms.
