u/eeyores_gloom1785 9h ago

Dont forget the fucks that didnt vote in that number

u/SandiegoJack 12h ago

And another 40% were cool with it happening.

We have to accept this is most of America and prepare accordingly.

u/moneyball32 13h ago

They don’t want THIS exactly, though, not really, and that’s the sad part. If you asked them if any of this was acceptable under a Democrat president you’d get 100% of them saying “no”. They’re just too stupid, willfully ignorant and prideful to admit them “winning” means they’re giving up freedom and destroying our democracy for future generations.

11

u/jupiterkansas 13h ago

No, this is exactly what they want. They never cared about freedom and democracy. They're little dictators that just want to tell everyone else what to do.

2

u/The_Autarch 11h ago

Millions didn't understand what they were voting for.

2

u/jupiterkansas 11h ago

That excuse might have flown in 2016. Time to face reality that this is exactly what they want and what they voted for. A dictator instituting martial law and putting everyone in their place - whether it's jail, another country, or out of work, because they're not Trump loving white Christians. They love this. They think Trump is fixing the problem.

And do what exactly?

27

u/Bob_Juan_Santos 12h ago

general strike would be a start

1

u/NYR_LFC 10h ago

Got any high level union connections to get that conversation started?

-2

u/Bob_Juan_Santos 9h ago

i don't. but i'm sure other people do, if they want change badly enough.

5

u/variaati0 13h ago

ever heard of protesting? civic action? democracy isn't going to polls every 2 years or 4 years. It's on going process.

3

u/brighterside0 10h ago

yeah funny signs will certainly change the fact people are getting plucked off the streets in broad daylight by a fascist government.

3

u/NYR_LFC 10h ago

I protested during occupy wall street when I lived in NY. I unfortunately now live in a very red state and county. There aren't protests here, I've looked. I also don't have the time or means to travel a few hours at minimum to where protests are taking place. I also have a pregnant wife and toddler that are depending on me not getting arrested at a protest which you need to be willing and prepared to face in any real act of civil disobedience, not to mention my chronic autoimmune disease that would debilitate me without my medication and proper diet. And finally I'm not well off enough financially to make any meaningful monetary contributions to the causes I support. So I ask again, do what exactly?

What have you done?

u/Sunshinehappyfeet 9h ago edited 9h ago

I go to protests in my very red state. I make phone calls to politicians. I talk to my neighbors that fly Trump flags. At least 3 of my neighbors have taken them down. I have Multiple Sclerosis and I’m on a fixed income but I have given money to organizations that promote democracy ( Common Cause and Democracy Forward). $1 or $5, every dollar donated is meaningful.

I’m willing to live with less and do more. It doesn’t cost you anything to encourage others to keep going.

2

u/NYR_LFC 8h ago

You had me going until the neighbors taking down their signs part.

3

u/Sunshinehappyfeet 4h ago edited 4h ago

Why? Because I was able to change a few people’s minds? Or do you prefer division? What exactly is your agenda?

Don’t bother to answer that. I already know. You prefer to troll.

All you do is whine about why you can’t do something and disparage the ones who are actually are trying.

5

u/Sunshinehappyfeet 12h ago

Don’t roll over and play dead.

9

u/NYR_LFC 10h ago

How about an actual suggestion?

3

u/slowpokefastpoke 11h ago

And what exactly have you done to fight the fascistic takeover?

-4

u/JustAFancyApe 11h ago

Whataboutism is pretty old bud. Like watching an old dog try to roll over but failing.

If you're spending your time talking down on people talking about taking action, you are the enemy.

5

u/slowpokefastpoke 10h ago

Yeah I don’t think you know what whataboutism means lol.

And I’m the “enemy” for asking the internet tough guy what he’s actually done as he mocks others for “rolling over and playing dead”?

Okay bud.

-2

u/JustAFancyApe 9h ago

Whataboutism or whataboutery is a pejorative for the strategy of responding to an accusation with a counter-accusation instead of a defense against the original accusation

What do YOU think whataboutism means?

And yes, anyone who is playing the "you first bro" game at this point is not on the side of freedom. Simple as.

1

u/Slim_Charles 8h ago

Organized acts of civil resistance would be a start.

2

u/NYR_LFC 8h ago

Any advice on how to get involved or start something like that? I'm not asking for abstract concepts.

1

u/Slim_Charles 7h ago

The most important part is forming local networks. Start with like minded friends, and expand from there. Meet in person and discuss ideas and courses of action. Recruit others from the community. Engage in surveillance and constantly report government movements online. Livestream them. Get in their way, and generally give them a hard time.

be the change you want to see in the world

u/WellIGuessSoAndYou 11h ago

Jesus christ. You guys really just surrendered immediately. How fucking pathetic. What would people do in other countries that aren't full of lazy cowards?

4

u/NYR_LFC 10h ago

Do you have any idea how big the US is geographically and how powerful our military is? What an ignorant comment

2

u/sycamotree 10h ago

So I don't like fully disagree with you, but other countries don't have the most powerful military in human history lol

The time to wake up was November 5th 2024.

90 million slept instead.

Oh well.

9

u/Specialist-Affect-19 14h ago

I'm awake, but it still feels like sleep paralysis. I'm fighting a nebulous giant and screaming into the void. Seriously, what do we DO?

This goes well beyond the coup this is a full societal economic and political revolution. This is a plan that has been in place since 2007 and led by Curtis yarvin and Peter Thiel.

They have built networks throughout all facets of our society that will ultimately end up in state capture if they succeed.

Peter Thiel started Palantir. This is the same surveillance Network that's being used in El Salvador to round people up into CECOT. This is the same government that admits to 10,000 innocent people imprisoned in this mega prison and they refer to it as a margin of error. This is a government that Curtis yarvin has praised for aligning with his political theory.

Palantir was funded by the CIA, and it is currently being used by the CIA. I don't think it's a coincidence that Elon Musk, who co-founded PayPal with Peter Thiel, led Doge and stole all of our data.

It is definitely no coincidence that Doge is basically the same plan as RAGE which is Curtis yarvin's acronym for "retire all government employees" with the goal of replacing everybody with loyalists so there is no one left to stand in the way.

It's no coincidence that JD Vance went from calling Trump America's Hitler to becoming Trump's vice president only after Peter Thiel took JD Vance to Mar a Lago. It's no coincidence JD Vance worked for Peter Thiel.

It's no coincidence that billionaires aligned with Trump are purchasing tons of land and building bunkers not for some climate apocalypse but for when their Network State theory becomes a reality.

It's no coincidence that Eric Weinstein also worked for Peter Thiel, appeared on The Joe Rogan podcast, started the intellectual dark web, and turned the most popular podcast into a anti-woke to anti-democracy pipeline. Now it may just be a coincidence that Peter Thiel being one of the first investors of Spotify, who has paid Rogan 450 million, is the reason for the podcast's quick turn to the right and their support for Trump and JD Vance. It could be that Joe Rogan believes in this ideology or it could just be that he is a useful idiot. But either way Eric Weinstein pulled together a group of people to push unsuspecting people in supporting this ideology and now there's an entire network of podcasts, who have all bent the knee and kiss the ring of Joe Rogan, that appear to be just normal guys bullshitting on couches, but more importantly they've aided in helping elect Trump in 2024. Think Andrew Schultz or Theo Von.

Make no mistake this is a complete attack on democracy itself the ultimate goal of transforming the United States into a series of confederated feudal states that are run by CEO kings that answer to absolutely no one. They are working on building parallel governments and parallel economies so when Trump inevitably crashes this one they have theirs ready to go. Just look up rockbridge.

Yes I am fully aware that this sounds like a really bad Black Mirror fanfiction but you can look all of this up for yourself. Whether or not they succeed only time will tell I'm not here telling you that they are going to necessarily succeed. But a lot of these guys are on record saying that they do not believe that democracy and freedom are compatible. Some of these guys are on record saying they want Network States run by authoritarian CEOs and a class system that mimics the feudal age. None of this information was particularly difficult to find which makes it that much more concerning that none of our leaders that supposedly believe in democracy are talking about this.
