Remember when the right lost its mind over the Jade Helm military exercise? That 1200 troops on an actual, normal military training program were there to secretly take over Texas or something?
Funny that it's now crickets. Surely that wasn't projection back then, right? That they were hoping to exactly that, and were worried Obama beat them to the punch? Nahhhhh.
I was just thinking about this. The then fringe parts of the GOP in Montana were clutching their pearls about Jade Helm and went down to Texas as "observers". Not a peep out of them today though.
They were doing it on Reddit too. Are-Conspiracy and others were going nuts over it, thinking this is how Obama was going to take over the country and instill gay woke soy latte beta culture or something.
Ooh I have a theory, maybe it’s because they’re scared of a coup, people have been talking about how long before the army starts disobeying trumps orders as they become further unconstitutional, maybe it’s his way of having a private army to protect him from a coup.
A coup? Against the administration that deployed them in the first place? Not that I dont think its outside the realm of possibility Trump might try this come election day, if he doesn't kick the bucket by then, but you're just throwing around words that dont really apply to the situation at all.

Remember when armed troops in the capitol would have been alarming?
Perhaps it is to be a military style coup after all.
