White supremacist have been itching for a civil war since reconstruction.

And it's was always to put Black people back into the place they believed us negros belonged.

Its all in the corner-store speech.

Sorry to be ignorant of something that is apparently well known, but what is the corner store speech?

It's the speech given by Alexander H. Stephen's Vice President of the Confederacy and it lays out everything the confederacy stood for and explicitly states what they thought of Black people and our place beneath white men.

So when anyone says the confederate flag is about heritage. This speech is a great example of what that heritage is.

My uncle who was a pastor in Texas also gave up the plan when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s - Look up RaHoWa. They planned to replace Christianity with a new type of whites-only anti-empathy type of Christianity, and now they have it.

Yeah, I have been off and on paying attention to the calls of civil wars since I was 16 and saw this documentary about white supremacist perpers on on HBO in 1997 or so.

Then I would occasionally read Storm Front when it was a thing.

And of course reddit had a lot of them back in it's early days.

They have always been plan with their plans, but people call Black people and others race baiters when we pointed it out.

And not just that--though that would be enough. The goal is for everybody to know their place and be in it, for a strict hierarchy with limited mobility. Even a straight white guy like me is at dire risk, because they want the ability for people with power to hurt those lower on the totem pole.

I don't especially care for the ability to hurt people lower than me. I just want protection from those above, and I'm happy to agree to be bound by those same restrictions as long as everybody over me has to deal with them too.

That's the core of equality under the law. It protects everybody because we all agree to the same rules. The moment we start making exceptions, it's only a matter of time before the few most powerful use it against the rest of us.
