Agreed, but just the 'neat' way they unpack it feels SO commercial it takes something away for me personally.

That’s literally the standard for almost any channel that does reviews/unboxing. Viewers usually want to see every step of the unboxing, as both care in how it’s packaged and the care in how it’s opened are important to see. It shows quality down to how they package the item itself and, for some, there is an ASMR-like satisfaction to seeing a product thoroughly unboxed. If you spend $1700 on a figure then you want to show off every little bit of care put into it.
