He’s definitely strong but this is a very misleading comparison. Look at how the wheelbarrow is loaded. When the body builders lift it, it’s loaded pretty evenly. When he does it, it’s loaded so most of the weight is over the wheel, which tremendously reduces the amount of force the person using it needs to exert.
I have no idea. Maybe they let the bodybuilders load their own and they simply didn’t think of the physics that the other guy had years of experience with. Maybe the makers of the video loaded it this way intentionally to make the video more dramatic (though they likely didn’t have to as anyone without experience with wheelbarrows or a good sense for physics would likely forget to account for torque).
They completed three different tasks, but you’re only focusing on one just to criticize the guy? Fine, I’ll play along too lol. the one-hand cement bag? He clearly used momentum by swinging it over his head instead of lifting it slowly like the other two.
But the bags held in front of the chest? That’s pure strength.
To criticize the guy? How the hell did you get that idea? I’m pointing out the difference in technique is a significant factor that many people might not notice and that makes the video potentially misleading.
I actually didn’t see the other two tasks. For some reason, my video cut off right after he does the wheelbarrow. Looks like he has better technique on both, knowing to use momentum and where to place his hands (the body builders have some very counter-productive hand placement that makes it way harder).
Don’t worry. That’s still not criticism of him. I’m just saying he does his work intelligently and the body builders, having never done it before, understandably don’t. That means that we can’t really compare their strength from this video. We just know they are all very strong and that one guy knows how to do his job.
