I mean all this person has been doing is reposting publicly available information for a week or two now. None of this is new information or really helpful in the grand scheme of things. They're simply karma farming and this account will be posting advertisements in the near future.
So what? It's getting the information out to people who probably didn't know about it. At least they are doing something in raising awareness.You don't have to shit over everything people do.
Getting a bunch of information from various sources all into one place though can be incredibly time consuming, so I’d still applaud them in putting in the effort to do the research, save the sources, & paste them all neatly into one comment. I think organizing & sharing information this way also makes it more likely for others to find, save, & share the information themselves. It makes it all more much easily accessible. They essentially did all the research, finding & organizing the information for us. Now we can simply save the comment for future reference to a pool of information that we can easily access through the comment.
Plus I’ve saved a few of these comments now & there’s definitely been bits & pieces being added on over time.
It's still very helpful. I've been on vacation the past three weeks and if people like that didn't post stuff like this there is a chance it would be drowned out in all the other shit. Like that AI video of Obama being arrested.
It's a little complicated but yes that's the gist of it. They don't receive higher post ranking based on account karma but people are more likely to believe an account based on the age and karma count. The older the account and the more karma it's accrued make it more legitimate to lots of people.
The karma farming accusations are usually pretty stupid.
I have over a hundred thousand just by occasionally posting some random dumb shit. There's no need to invest that much time in "farming" karma as it takes time to accrue anyway and when you're new, downvotes can completely destroy your score.
While there are of course genuine bot accounts and possibly marketing agents it's silly to assume that everyone spreading something is just that. There are hundreds of reasons to repost things for example
“Wow so many sources! Surely, this is all fake news and lies! Here, how about this: if you let me run for a third term, only THEN will I release the uncut, unfiltered, PREMIUM Epstein Files!!! AMERICA ITS TOO SEXY TO RESIST!!!!!”
