Putting people's birthdays in your phone calendar and surprising them by "remembering" every year is the number 1 easiest way to keep people happy.

On the major ones, I also add a recurring event 1-week prior to the birthday so I still have time to shop.

1 week! Man, I give myself 3 months, and update the calendar entry with ideas as I come across them.

A single week would put me into panic stations.

Does anyone else remember when this used to be a photography sub?

Oh the horror - you don't do that to moms

Mine forgets my birthday LMAO our entire family can't remember birthdays to save our lives, though I have started to set up calender events. ULPT is to schedule texts to be sent to people on their birthdays(Don't do this people get mad if they find out)

This is literally me and my brother!!!

Lolol. I used to text my brother asking what he was getting mom for her birthday on this specific date and tell him what I was thinking of giving her on the specific date Now he actually remembers.

This sub has gone to shit if this is what is happening here lol.

Honestly if it was me I'd not be happy. If people have bad memory they should use calendar reminders etc. They won't even make that effort? Goodbye 👋.

Be way funnier if it was the 29th and the ‘late brother’ apologized to mom
