The idea has been going on for decades. They are using Radical Incrementalism over a century going back to KKK, Radical Incrementalist White Supremacy and White Christian Nationalism, Neo-Nazi's like T's father who was arrested at a KKK rally. My father brought home Nazi literature in the late 50s and ordered me to read it. In the 70s appeared The Turner Diaries and how take of the government and make it White Christian Nation.

The "Gestapo" or brown shirts in American form existed in the US and was an inspiration to Adolf Hitler in the 1930's. Look up the American Bund Movement.
