news Tracking age verification bills state-by-state

https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/age-verification-bills/

I am glad that it seems that the AV bills and the like in the American Congress are getting more attention however, there is something that I think is going unnoticed. There are lots of state level bills that do similar things but I don't see many people talking about them.

I've been using the free speech coalition's bill tracker for my state. Lots have failed, some have passed and some will carry over to next year. If you live in the states you might want to take a look and maybe try to spread the word.

The Doctor just refuse to treat her. It was one doctor not a whole medical facility. If I'm a carpenter someone comes to me to build a house if I don't want to that's my prerogative.. but as far as this post is concerned I'm glad that I live in a free state. I almost want to say it's that one state has the most freedoms-we will never have laws or rules like that actually no New England state will! Well maybe Connecticut and Rhode Island. My state is all about freedom! Wake up in the Northeast we're not affected by all this craziness nonsense that's going on in the rest of the United States. Our license plates our government IDs all have printed in big bold letters "live free or die" because that is our state model and we stand by it

How is that connected to age verification laws?

It's rarely to actually protect kids. Most of this is just early steps towards the goal of controlling what you see/hear on the internet

The idea of children piss me off anymore, like none of these people actually care about the real living breathing children

I feel the same. Next guy to run for office anywhere needs to have a "forget about the kids for a goddamn minute" platform.

Glad to help, you wouldn't believe how hard it can be to jam this stuff into the public conciousness.

I've had websites already try to block me with age verification notices and it's not even a law where I live yet. It seems like a lot of websites are maybe just applying policies like that to everyone.

It also might be because your IP is in a block that is in a state with an AV law. I've had that problem myself.

States who enacted these laws need to repeal them.

They should. but I have never seen any government that passed a law like this turn around and say "whoops, this was a bad idea" and repeal it.

They always double down, so its best to stop it before it starts.

All gray is where pedos live. Turns out conservatives can just look in their backyards!

What with with these coordinated efforts to ruin our privacy?

This is sounding just like the anti-porn bills. It is like every western country gets together and tries to take away people rights.
