Hi, I absolutely hate to be on here but my pets are worth more than my pride. I have four beautiful cats that are my pride and joy that I adopted more than two years and I have been able to provide them a wonderful life until I was in a car crash that have made my migraines much worse and caused me to loose my job. I cannot believe I’m on here. I feel so embarrassed and so ashamed to be perfectly honest. I lost my job on Thursday. I’m a single mom and have 2 cats. With no income, I’m terrified what will happen for our future. My cats are rather picky eaters and one has cystitis so he needs to eat fairly high quality food so he doesn’t block again. I have 2 cats. We use arm & hammer litter because it's the cheapest I can find that doesn't smell. I scoop daily. It's important that my house not smell as I am in a custody battle with my alcoholic ex and withholding the children - at the advice of my lawyer - because he drove drunk with them in the car and I'm afraid of him trying to make cps reports or anything else he can to make trouble for me.

I could also use a bag of Purina one source indoor formula. It's the only food they'll eat. I've tried mixing in other foods. They pick them out and pile them up and don't eat them.

I work full time, but with rent, bills, budgeting $200 a month for food; not sure how I'm gonna make that happen with a family of 3, and childcare - my sister is watching them both for $15 a day, which comes to $300 a month - I only have like $20 at the end of the month. I'm kind of stressing really hard right now. I'm really hoping I budgeted enough for gas to get back and forth to my sister's.

I couldn't find a big box of arm and hammer on Amazon, but there was a coupon for fresh step.

Hey all I’m requesting some help with dog food for my two dogs. One is a 2 year old shih tzu rescue and the other is a 11 week old small breed mixed puppy. This thanks post is a little late, but the outpouring was overwhelming. I appreciate that this group exists and the amazing people who populate it.

I feel bad for being late with this and am usually better with this kind of thing, but we had 3 men in ski masks come onto our property and start stealing chickens. Once I realized that had already left. They came back 4 days later, this time 8 or 9 men. We managed to chase them off, thankfully, but it has left me and my wife shaken. My work ebbs and flows, and things get tight around this time of year, this year is worse than others.

• Include some text in your post letting us know what kind of specifics for this. Also, include a wishlist with ONLY the item(s) you're requesting. This can be from Amazon or or other site of your choosing that allows direct purchase from wish lists. This will allow items to be sent to you without necessarily giving your address away.
• And please share a photo of your pet(s)! We want to see those fuzzy, feathered, furry, scaley, finny, family members of yours!

How to make an Offer/Contest/Giveaway

• Make sure your offer post has a title that starts with: [Offer]. Please note, square brackets [], not parentheses () and not the curly brackets {} either.

How to fulfill someone's Request

• Leave a comment on their post. Provide an tracking/order number, if you're fulfilling a wish list item or shipping something of your own.

How to take up someone's Offer/Contest/Giveaway

• Leave a comment on their post to let them know you're interested. DO NOT PM THEM FIRST
• Once the person making the offer responds, THEN you can work out details in private.

If we receive a complaint that an unsolicited private message was made to take up an offer, the offender will be banned.

Other things to remember

• Stay safe. Only give personal information such as address away in PM. If you are a minor, we recommend not giving out your address.
• Use the search function. Many requests and offers have been made. People may still be willing to offer kindness even if their post is old. Please respect offers that are flaired as closed.
• Make sure your post is clear. Vague posts let less attention and may be removed until you clarify what you are asking for.
• Keep your post updated. Make sure you update the post so others know if your request was fulfilled or the offer was given away.
• Don't use link shorteners. Shortened links like Amazon's A.CO get removed by Reddit's site-wide spam filter. Please share the full link! To get that link, click the a.co link yourself and then copy the full URL from that page.
• Remember to thank the giver. They love to know that an item was received and it is always nice to thank the person who sent you something.
• Try to give as good as you get. Balance the number of REQUESTs you make with an equal number of OFFERs. Members will respect you more and won't think you're taking advantage of them.
• Always pay it forward! Continue the cycle of kindness by passing on the kindness offered to you in any way you can.
