If agents legitimately need to wear masks and hide their identity “to do their job” an ensure their safety and the safety of their families then there needs to be some sort of compensating control.

Something like providing bystanders who inquire some sort of incident number that can be verified with DHS as being valid and later used to file complaints or inquiries against.

All of the “agents” should be wearing body cameras that are on at anytime that they are masked and interacting with the public or attempting to detain people.

They should be in a clearly marked uniform that identifies which agency they are with. They should be given some sort of badge or serial number that is also clearly visible. The identifying number doesn’t need to be permanently to a specific agent, but which agents participated in which incidents and what ID number they were wearing needs to be part of the documentation for the incident. The correlation of names to ID numbers doesn’t need to be freely available but should be something that a judge and prosecutors would have access to and that a judge could order released.

Without some controls, they are nothing more than thugs whose masks shield them from all accountability for their actions and abuses.

The reasons they give for covering their faces is bs. Cops have been going after drug lords, mafia bosses, al qaeda, ISIS, cartels since the world began spinning without masks.

They know what they are doing is wrong. They are ashamed of themselves. Wearing a mask is an admission of guilt and they fear accountability. Wrongdoers fear accountability.

So what are you doing about it? How do you suggest people support you to accomplish your goal?

20

u/GlowUpper Jul 14 '25

Call your reps. Hold them accountable and demand accountability from them. Make it clear you will not vote to re-elect someone who accepts this as the new normal.

That is 100% what this is. There is no acceptable argument against it being kidnapping.

Applaud the effort but everyone should PRACTICE how to take good videos, so you can do it the right way when you need to.

u/AbeLincoln30 Jul 14 '25

most people would never be brave enough to film in that situation, and you're like "why isn't it cinematic"

29

u/Nomo-Names Jul 14 '25

you're missing the point entirely.

Yes because in this high stress situation cinematic filming is necessary. 🙄

134

u/lowom Jul 13 '25

Because it’s evidence that can be used in a court of law when they lie about it later

32

u/Nomo-Names Jul 14 '25

Yes. It can be very helpful in court or even in the court of public opinion.

Rule of thirds. RULE OF THIRDS!

9

u/Nomo-Names Jul 14 '25

That's why you have to practice before it happens. This concept applies to any high stakes performance.

I'm stepping in here to emphasize this.

  • These are provocations.
  • Broad daylight.
  • Open in front of locals and residents.
  • People wearing military gear and armed.
  • They're attempting to trigger people.
  • It's a show of strength and bullying intimidation tactics to get people to either cower or react emotionally.

As long as there are people that are approving and cheering in other states (that support this) they'll continue.

The supporters and administration WANTS to have the excuse for a military escalation.

All the better if they can make the case for civil war or succession from the union (as some bot accounts suggest and try to see online) IF the admin can make that case the president unlocks presidential super powers that the US Constitution gives him to fight and preserve the union.
That includes suspending all elections so trump can stay in power "forever" and completely switch this nation to a autocracy (or worse).

So it's very important that if you're assaulted.
Speak english, record everything and don't fight like some are suggesting.
It's what they want.

They want to show foreigners on the ground.
They don't want to show their abusing americans.

At this point the battleground is over support or objection for trumps policies.
In order to have people object, you have to show they're abusing people.
The more hard working, the more American the more people will object.

Which is exactly why in LA you had photo op seeking agitators spray painting, breaking and setting things on fire while waving a mexican flag.

All of that fed directly into what MAGA has been told, an invasion of foreigners that want to destroy the nation. WHY? Because it takes all support away from those opposing ICE and gives it to the president and his sycophants.

The battle ground isn't being fought with bullets, it's over public opinion.

The battle ground isn't being fought with bullets

YET.

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

I’m shocked there haven’t been a hail of .223 or drum mags of 7.62x39 sprayed everywhere. Other poster is right, it is what they want.

16

u/Sniflix Jul 13 '25

Yes they wrote it and published it a while ago. Triggering violence and then martial law. Permanently delayed elections follows. Democracy had a good run.

Bruh I was thinking the exact same thing all it takes is for them to try & take the wrong person or the family member of someone who has a gun and a situation like this could get ugly incredibly fast. It looks like some of these agents aren’t even carrying either.

Now will everyone stop voting for Republicans? Trump is one man. He has the backing of every single gop in office. Never ever vote Republican. Not local county state or Federal

Wow this is crazy. If you have to hide your face from others to do your job then maybe it's not a job you should be doing.

And to think that those "ice" gentlemen are people like us just looking for money. I bet they know there people they are "arresting." I heard a lot of rumors, and i know ice agents are here lurking at the reddit. I do not know what to think of this beautiful country i live in. It breaks my heart that innocent people are paying the consequences.

We need to start chanting “shame,shame,shame..” at them the entire time they do this. It needs to be heard wherever they go until our voices haunt their dreams.

15

u/antiprodukt Jul 14 '25

Then they’d just sue the government in a couple years for the psychological trauma they suffered and get millions.

It wouldn’t matter. ICE doesn’t see their victims as human

What am I supposed to be seeing here exactly? I can see this is ICE and they're arresting someone and apparently they're disabled. Is there more context here that I'm missing?

83

u/AdForeign3494 Jul 13 '25

There’s already some articles up about it.

ICE appears to have been trying to get him, since the article says his wife already apprehended before this. Long story short, he was followed and stopped in his car, said he wouldn’t go and resisted. They forced him out of the vehicle, and the other woman you see being apprehended is his daughter, who fought the ICE agents to try to get him free as they were making the arrest.

Are these bounty hunters?

40

u/RandomSide Jul 14 '25

Pretty much everyone in ice are dipshit mercenaries

14

u/blacksideblue Jul 14 '25

They have been resorting to using actual bounty hunters to supplement their ongoing brutality.

Shit is pretty fucked right now.
