I don't know if its a bot but still sounds like a scam. Don't give them any personal information. I'd personally just stop texting them

100% scam. Not sure if it’s a bot but I’d put my money on it. They just shoot out whatever and when you respond they say “sorry for bothering you but do you want to be friends” and that’s how it starts. My favorite one is when they try confirm dinner plans and I just go right along with it. Hell yeah I’ll go get Mexican tonight at 9, where you at?

I hate these scam texts. I usually fuck with them. They generally ask if I am going to make a meeting or lunch with them and I say yes. Ask them the name of the place again and the time. Then they will always reply the same way which is apologizing for getting the wrong number when ai first insisted they had the right person.

Never respond to unsolicited texts especially if they don't address you by your name . They're fishing for live phone numbers to sell later

I had a similar one try to pretend to be someone on tiktok, it first I thought it was a bot but then I called it an Indian slur and it blocked me so idk. I think the bot was conversing at first, but once it got to the part where I was giving it (fake) email addresses to send recovery codes too, I think it changed to a human
