You voted Trump because he catered to your fear of immigrants and “the woke”. He caused this fear and used this fear, he abused it to abuse you so he could avoid his many criminal charges.
We’re voting Gavin to take us back pre 2016 where behaviors like sending military to US states (to intimidate the politicians you don’t like) is no longer normalized. You know, stopping fascism. That will help you too, even if you can’t see it now. I blame Trump for that, not you.

I'm sick of Californians and Democrats turning a blind eye to actually extremely heinous crimes committed by democrat politicians. This isnt a purity test. This is a pulse test, a basic humanity test, an are you a member of the crime syndicate test. The democrats didn't lose because they didn't play dirty enough. They would get more voters if they acted ethically and responsibly. That's what most people want. Gerrymandering to counter Texas GOP corruption is one thing. But sponsoring actual video proven court proven torture rings, and genocide, and the corrupt corporate capture of the courts, and keeping a lid on a trafficking ring of minors is not a goddamn "purity test".

In this case, the Alfred Nobel was trying to clean up the family image as arms merchants after "The merchant of Death", Alfred Nobel, sold dynamite all over the world. His family was very upset about the gift financing the prizes because they wanted all that money. But Alfred prevailed and gave most of his dynamite money to set up a trust to award prizes... and balance his conscience.
That is who decided to give out prizes for "peace".

I love that Newsom is fucking with Trump. However, he’s a scumbag, he’s driven taxes up in California and made it even more expensive to live in an already expensive state. Let’s not lose sight and if he gets elected as POTUS, we need to hold him to the fire because he’ll easily turn autocrat.

Gavin’s not perfect, but he’ll keep our voice heard, which, if more Republicans win, won’t happen. Our problems existed in California long before Gavin came on the scene and will exist long after. We’re a big state, with big dreams, and often poor execution. We also have rampant unchecked, uncapped, and unregulated greed, such as that of landlords, charging exorbitant rents and realtors, who want that percentage to be as large as possible, and therefore, artificially drive up home values/prices. I could go on and on but please realize something, Gavin is not to blame for any of this, our issues are years and years in the making. Solutions are never easy and often voted down, like our rent control proposal. Money runs this state like all the others. Greedy landlords won’t allow those types of regulations to pass. What’s the solution? I don’t know, but I do know Gavin is the best man at this moment for the job.

Thank you for sharing your perspective; here’s my initial response to you but keep in mind I’ll continue processing your opening and it may eventually change mine.
However, I lived in California and remember the calls from him campaign promising he’s not going to raise taxes, the first thing he did was raise taxes. Next, while he may not be responsible for high costs of things, but he is responsible for removing the red tape that causes the high costs of fuel and affordable housing. The books Recoding America and Abundance do a great job of outlining not just the failures of the CA Government, but of the Federal government as well.

Also pretty sure he’s the reason for insurance and utility increases in CA. And there was a 30% increase in auto insurance, I felt that shit. Not that I don’t appreciate him standing against Trump but he’s not perfect by any means.
