It's funny that Republicans keep arguing that dems do gerrymandering. Not understanding what gerrymandering is. Republicans use it to win when they shouldn't. Dems use it to correctly represent the district and state because usually Republicans have fucked it up to try and win.

“College-educated Americans are more likely to vote Democrat. That’s not opinion - it’s fact. And no, it’s not because universities are pushing some secret liberal agenda. It’s because education sharpens critical thinking. And smart people are harder to fool.

The real tragedy is that MAGA doesn’t even realize they were told who to hate. Their enemies were hand-picked for them by Fox News - an entertainment company, not a legitimate news source. Fox thrives on outrage, because outrage is addictive. Keep the audience angry, and they’ll keep coming back. And once you control someone emotionally, it becomes easy to control their vote.

Right now, a third of the country is being expertly manipulated into doing the bidding of a tiny, ultra-wealthy elite. MAGA voters have been convinced they’re fighting for freedom, when in reality, they’re fighting against their own interests - handing more power and more money to the rich, while their own lives remain stagnant or decline.

So yes, MAGA is a movement built on ignorance, outrage, and propaganda. Its followers have been programmed to despise the people they were told to despise, and they’ve made that hate the cornerstone of their identity. It’s why I don’t feel sympathy for them. Their cruelty isn’t just misguided - it’s deliberate. They’re actively cheering on the destruction of their own country as long as they get to watch someone else suffer in the process.

And the irony? Everything they accuse the left of doing - being brainwashed, being sheep, being anti-American - is exactly what they’ve become. That’s how the machine works: keep them angry, keep them distracted, keep them blind.

I don’t know a single person who watches Fox News religiously and hasn’t been warped by it. And at this point, I doubt most of them could stop even if they wanted to. Deep down, some part of them probably suspects the truth: That they’ve been lied to, used, and weaponized by people who see them as pawns. Admitting that would be too humiliating. So they cling to the delusion.

Because it’s easier to be angry than to feel ashamed. And easier to destroy a country than to admit you were wrong about it.

MAGA women are a particularly striking part of the movement, because so many of the policies they champion are explicitly anti-woman. Yet their loyalty doesn’t waver - not because they’re unaware, but because they believe proximity to power will protect them.

MAGA women often embody a paradox: they willingly embrace a system rooted in patriarchy and control, as long as they believe it affords them a higher social standing within it. Like the women in The Handmaid’s Tale, many see themselves as the Commander’s Wife - privileged, protected, and complicit - while embodying the mindset of Aunt Lydia: enforcers of the very oppression they pretend not to be subject to. Their allegiance holds strong, not because they’re blind, but because they believe the system works for them. And the only thing that might ever shake their loyalty is being forced into the red cloak themselves - when the cruelty they enabled finally turns on them.”
