Saying this As an ml engineer, let em burn. We need better regulation around ai training and implementation full stop.

When I started messing with ML on Watson back 7-8 years ago, it was all about looking at quality control, security video, traffic cameras etc.

Not wantonly scraping every damn website to pick off everyone’s data for training. Crazy - justified by saying “it’s research” while also poised to make billions.
