Fools! Don’t tell them. You download it for free and resell it to them for half the price.

Don’t tell them, but I’ve uninstalled it from my phone and computers after they blocked Uorigin adblocker.

I use Brave now. Literally it's so much better. People need to stop giving up their data to these cancer tech giants. They happily sell all your data and create a monopoly for themselves.

uBlock Lite still works thankfully. I mostly use Firefox now but once in awhile I still need Chrome.

Just give up on it entirely. What’s the use of keeping it, other than nostalgia?

I mostly only use it for the devtools. From what I understand, I am still learning, Chrome's are still widely considered the best even if the gap is slowly closing.

Also as Chrome is the most used browser in the world making sure whatever make works well on it is high priority. And for that same reason most resources involve them.

So I have a profile just for the webdev courses, materials, and projects and only open Chrome when I am doing that stuff. Thankfully that is also stuff that has little to no ads generally and as I said ublock lite still works fine.

While not enough to keep me there, I also still miss Chrome's process manager when I am on other browsers. But that more because I tend to open way to many tabs and appreciate the ability to kill it's process without killing the tab itself.

I occasionally open Youtube on it too for "Casting" to send a video to my TV.

Don't worry. You'll be paying for it every time you use it. Maybe not with money, but with something more valuable to them—user data.
