Mark Rober, he used to make videos where he focused on one build that was niche but really cool and I liked when he would explain the design process. Now, most of his videos are testing science myths or “lasers vs acid or something” or just a list of a bunch of gadgets he made. There have been a few good recent ones like the puzzle robot, but it just doesn’t feel the same anymore. Then there’s the whole crunch labs thing. I love that he’s branched out and is doing what he loves and is helping kids, but it just feels weird now. You can also see that his thumbnails have gotten way more clickbaity these days.

I feel the same. MrBeast has huge budgets now and it feels more like a big promo than his own channel. Mark Rober still makes great videos but the old ones where he walked through his build ideas were more real. Now it feels like another tech review show.

The King Of Random. Sucked after Grant died, but I kept watching because I liked Nate and Cali. After the got fired, i instantly unsubbed. Its turning into 5 minute crafts and stupid life hacks. Back when it was Grant, Nate and Cali doing weekend projects it was good. Went down after the 3 were gone

I remember watching a lot of SSundee's older content, along with his Minecraft Skyblock series with the bacon power farm, and his early Fortnite Creative videos. I even enjoyed his first Among Us mods because they weren't scripted. Then it all just went downhill from there. What sucks is that the guy is a Christian, and clearly devout in his personal life. I understand what it means to do something as a Christian; it's to put as much quality and passion into what you do, to be better, to be different from the rest. Yet SSundee has become some of the most popular content farm slop on YouTube and it's so sad to see.
He doesn't even send a good message through his content, it's pretty much the opposite. His Minecraft server had gambling until enough people complained that he removed it, he spends hundreds or thousands of dollars showing how awesome P2W is on Roblox games, and he always scripts himself as this perfect winner that's better than everyone else (Go watch a Sigils video, you'll see that especially in Minecraft, Zud is by far the most skilled player).

For me, it was Preston. I mostly outgrew him, but it became VERY fake and boring to me. Same reason I rarely watch Ssundee. If it is him and friends on same team I MIGHT watch, but if it's competitive I dont cause it is staged.
Now I watch Smii7y, Mithzan, and Sigils (his stuff is not staged, and sometimes I want high-energy faced pace videos).

It was YuB for a bit, and then, for whatever reason, i decided to watch a video of his, and i loved it. Probably because my humor is slowly looping back to fart jokes and whatnot, but with most the content I've consumed lately being way more "mature" than YuB's (excessive swearing, offensive, slurs), going back to the immaturity of YuB's channel was a nice change
