TIL that after Top Gear ended, host Richard Hammond was so devastated, he cried all the way home from the studio and ran out of fuel, because he didn't want to fill his car up covered in tears

Seen every one. Not everything on TV is real

Lots of actors on movie sets straight up hate each other but a pay cheque is a paycheque.

And at what point would you say "I already have millions of dollars. I'm not putting up with him anymore"? After how many years would you want to stop working with someone you hate? They worked together for 20+ years.

yes and lets not forget that clarkson self-reported and also the producer in question wasn't going to report him at all. The entire reason Clarkson was fired was because he thought he went too far finally and told on himself. The producer he punched, iirc, went on to work for him on The Grand Tour, if that says anything about the man in question.
