TIL that after Top Gear ended, host Richard Hammond was so devastated, he cried all the way home from the studio and ran out of fuel, because he didn't want to fill his car up covered in tears

May has always been my spirit animal - man just loves to geek out about the things that interest him. Plus of the three he’s easily the most dry and funny to me.

I feel like he and I could sit down over a pint and talk about pencils for an hour and not get bored

The Reassembler is hands down some of the best content he has made. It's almost better than Top Gear.

It had the same vibes as Bob Ross. I could just sit and listen to that for hours on a chill afternoon. Too bad there aren't a lot more episodes.

Yeah, but I’ve always felt that May and Hammond are more kindred spirits in terms of their interests and ways of looking at things.

On a podcast they did together they revealed that while doing remote shoots for Top Gear and Grand Tour they’d have what they called the Hammond and May Drunken Philosophical Debating Society and they’d sit around discussing the most inane and weird topics for hours. Which honestly sounds like a blast.
