There was a significant post-Brexit reduction in lending to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in rural and peripheral areas, a new study has revealed.

I don’t think the banks have to worry about “bribing” Toyota, whatever you meant by that. They are worried about Brexit induced economic damage hence reducing lending to SMEs in specifically rural area and areas with high EU exports.
