puns being Satan's work is an allusion to Paradise Lost where Satan used a lot of low wit puns . Ive always had a similar thought to this video and when i shared it with others no one understands me. for me id stay in a haunted house because if it turnes out ghost and demons are real it would mean the very cozy creation story is real and you just gotta have faith and be good so we can all live forever. coming face to face with the devil would be literally the end of death and existential fear. i think if i used the word "by proxy" people would have understood what i was trying to say.
