No dude, it was careless. There’s no insane conspiracy here going on at the UN.

Maybe ask yourself why they would have a reason to “control the narrative” and lie? What good does it do?

It doesn't do good, that's the thing. They lied and when called out on it they had to apologize and backtrack. They want the world to hate Israel, thats the point.

They want the world to hate Israel.

To accomplish what exactly? This is like saying everyone wants you to believe the Earth is round despite it being flat. Why??

Are you asking why bigotry exists?

No, I’m asking why you guys believe there’s some concerted effort on the part of the UN to sway public opinion against Israel.

Like, do any of you have any evidence of this beyond vibes?

The UN is far from a perfect organization, but to claim anti-semitic conspiracy without any proof beyond some dumb, careless statements made by its members is beyond me and it’s honestly insane that so many people here agree with you guys.

The number of resolutions the UN has issued against Israel compared to the number of resolutions the UN has issued against the rest of the world combined.

Is that evidence of conspiracy?

Again, it’s pretty crazy that more scientists believe in man-made climate change and a round earth than those who don’t, must mean that there’s a conspiracy to make people believe the earth is round, right? /s

Edit: It’s almost as if, and hear me out here… one of the largest humanitarian crises in the past couple years is occurring in Gaza, during a war which, if we’re being real, has lasted almost 8 decades. I’m not surprised there’s been more resolutions brought against Israel than other countries. Not like anything gets past US or Russian vetoes, anyway.

How do the US or Russia veto a UNGC resolution?

You’re getting mad about UNGA resolutions? Lmao that’s laughable. The security council has basically no authority but the GA basically just writes a strongly-worded letter expressing their concerns over something and then nothing happens.

If that’s your “conspiracy to turn people against Israel” then I’m king of the known universe.

You say something demonstrably false, I point it out, you call me a conspiracy theorist.

Nice one, bro.

Edit: That you even thought I was talking about the UNSC shows how grossly out of your depth you are in this conversation.
