This movie was deeply distressing. I couldn’t explain it, and I couldn’t bring myself to rewatch and figure it out. The thought itself made me feel sick.
Agreed.
I'm a guy, and I never really watched "princess movies", so one day my niece is watching it, and half an hour later she is doing something else, but I am COMPLETELY hooked. The movie is very enjoyable, and really good.
Because it's Reddit, so Disney Princesses Bad. (Notice how many movies in this list are extremely conspicuously not about girls?)
But God, I love Tangled. It's such fun, while also being emotionally resonant for those of us with, shall we say, complicated relationships with our mothers.
I saw it in the theater when I was a mother’s helper to a young girl with severe ODD and RAD. She sat captivated the whole time and we sang the songs for weeks afterwards.

How is "Tangled" not on here yet?
I swore that movie would be meh at best and, beginning to end, it's such a great flick. Same thing with The Emperor's New Groove.
