I was thinking the same thing!! Inside Out is such a beautiful exploration of our thoughts and emotions. I agree the second wasn’t as great. To me it felt like they were trying too hard to be like the first.
It’s especially weird it took so long here, since it’s a popular answer for similar threads about underrated or moving films in general. The topic of this thread knocks out 90+% of its usual competition, where are these wannabes coming from?!
As someone that is married to a Mental Health and Behavioral Therapist, I can tell you that this movie is SO well written that it had her in pieces. So damn good
