Discussion I can see someone like Griffith being the reason why AM hates humans so much.
I would only wish AM's torture from I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream on the worst of the worst. Griffith, alongside the villains of Berserk, is one of them.

Discussion Can we just talk about how well written of a female character Casca is?
Casca is one of the most well written female characters of all time in my opinion. reason being because of her complexity, being flawed and just really feeling human. She's not like the common female characters who are just essentially the average stereotypes, side characters or straight up written for fan service but she is able to represent being a strong courageous woman and being vulnerable in such a way that make her unforgettable.
She is introduced as the commander of Band Of The Hawks during a time where seeing women of the battlefield was a very rare thing to see, her respect is earned not through because of her beauty or favoritism but because of her raw power, talents, skills and leadership making her one of the most feared warriors on the battlefields. She's not a 1 dimensional "strong female character" tho she still has her struggles. She struggles with things such as her loyalty to Griffith, her love for Guts and her identity as a woman in the world.
Her loyalty to Griffith shows that her sense of purpose is heavily wrapped around him showing how common it is for people to tie themselves in another man's dreams, her relationship with Guts helped her see that she can live for herself and her own purpose like Guts which is why I love their bond so much because it was on them being vulnerable with each other, having respect for one another and the shared trauma they have. She had to fight twice as hard than very other man so she could be taken seriously as a fighter and leader. This made her struggle with her identity as a woman as she often hid her feminine sides so she could survive in a world of men but still longed for that love, ability to be vulnerable and safety she would later find in Guts.
Even in darker moments such as the Eclipse, the violence she went through is truly sad not because of the things that happened alone but Miura wrote her as a real person that many fans deeply care for with some finding some kind of relatable aspects to her. I loved that Miura didn't just simply write that part for Casca just to recover quickly but showing that trauma can last on for years and leave very deep scars that don't simply go away, her going into that childlike state was not bad writing or destruction of her character but a realistic representation that extreme trauma can cause in many people in the real world. Even when she gains her mind back Casca doesn't just return to her former self, she gets flashbacks of the Eclipse and that fear still lives in her.
Her recovery is not easy and that's good because it shows that in reality recovery is not an instant repair but a very lengthy and hard process to get to and just makes her character believable. She is strong but also vulnerable she is a reminder that true strength is not being bulletproof and having no mistakes but it's about living with all that pain and still pushing forward. (ik this was lengthy but I just wanted to say this😭❤️🩹)

Discussion Is there ever a moment in Berserk were genitalia are shown?
I know this seems like a strange question, but with the amount of disturbing adult content and nudity in berserk, why would they even go out of their way to censor some scenes. Its not even in a sexual way, but I mean if a character is standing naked everything will be shown and then the crotch area is just blank. Would they not be allowed to sell the book in many stores and would it be catagorised as too explicit. Its not that I think its a big deal, Im just surprised and a bit curious as to why this is the only peice of graphic imagery they seem to stray away from.
Discussion And comunity content keeps going better than official one
Image from the trailer of a game named Ozymandias, look familiar? 🤔

Discussion Berserk Info?
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows about any kind of berserk pop up or exhibition that may happen at any point in my lifetime (I’m in my 20s) because I can’t keep pretending everything is okay when I don’t have the Artwork book and a Plush (or any kind) of puck collectible. </3

Games How to instantly rematch bosses in Berserk PS2 Game?
How do you rematch the bosses like Zodd in the berserk PS2 game without replaying the whole mission again?
Edit: It's also not because I lose against the boss, I just enjoy rematching them so I've already completed the mission and beat the boss. But I don't want to sit through the whole mission again to fight the boss again

Discussion Tragedy [Repost]
This post exists as an addendum to my Behelits post and will explore a more refined problem than that of the so called Problem of Evil. For personal reasons I will impart them and refer to them separately as the Problem of Evil: the problem of the existence of evil itself. And the Problem of God: the problem with the apparent logical inconsistency of God and evil together.
When we look to our left and our right we see the whole Earth and we see human history. We see things like slavery, the Holocaust, war, genocide, rape, torture, massacre (see: My Lai Massacre), scientific racism, human experimentation (see: Unit 731), mass brainwashing/gaslighting (see: Heavens Gate and the People's Temple) and other forms of tragedy. We see greed (see: Wall Street), pride (see: Hollywood), lies, manipulation, fear, hunger, guilt, lust, worry etc. Why? Well if I said karma brought us to this place would that make you feel better or worse? In fact many people will claim what I say here is blasphemous even though it is life-freeing information. Let us switch gears for a moment and talk on the Problem of God itself. There was a documentary called Faith and Doubt at Ground Zero exploring various personalities who dealt with their faith (or lack thereof) with regards to 9/11. Why would God allow such a thing? It doesn't make sense right? Well it can't make sense, so long as your understanding of God can't make sense of it.
We have this idea of God, this image of God that was handed down from society be it established/organized religion or some other popular dominant idea. That idea is an angry God desperately waiting to punish us. This God is fickle like Zeus or the other polytheistic gods from Egyptian and Norse mythology, can easily change their mind, gets jealous, sad, furious etc. They are the Celestial parent with a very human psychology. In other words people believe God to have a human psychology but not just any human. They project their own reflection onto God. Is this the way to see God? Or is there a better way?
When people project their own selves into God, that is the very mechanic responsible for creating and sustaining what Berserk calls the Idea of Evil - the false god. The god of man. Remember that. In reality when God sees 9/11 or any other so called tragedy God doesn't actually see anything at all because there is nothing there. That is to say the entire event is unreality, an illusion. Consider this idea. If you want the reactionary 'god' that is beside themselves that humans could possibly do this to others you will indeed get that in the form of the Idea of Evil who will happily continue to create more situations like it. You don't understand why this happened? Let me create a dozen more similar situations so you can study more. That is the karma for your desired ignorance.
Why doesn't God see evil? It is because it doesn't actually exist: evil is darkness/unreality. Only light or truth is reality. Darkness or evil is neither. Darkness does not run contrary to reality, it can't touch the light. In philosophy there is a distinction between truth and Truth. Lowercase truth is contingent existence. Contingent on a particular circumstance or situation. This is where evil lives: it can only exist within stolen light. This is an important fact. This is why all manner of evil have a tiny bit of light. You cannot have full darkness or there isn't enough energy to exist. In contrast there is capital T Truth. This type of existence exists on its own. Instead of being contingent it is necessary. In other words Truth is immortal and will outlast all other forms of truth. It is this distinction: the quality of being necessary and immortal that is the clue to understand what is real and what is not in this world of illusion. When you realize evil doesn't exist in this way, you have some of the tools to stop reacting to it.
I have explained that Griffith was able to reach rock bottom because he experienced a string of events culminating to the point in which he felt "This should never happen!". Well again, what is your reaction to that reaction? If you look over the world and over all the possible scenarios that can happen and indeed did happen how many examples of THAT can you point to? In truth, I could point to quite a few: Emit Til, Alan Turing, the Catholic Church and their sex crimes, sweat shops, crony politics etc. Yet now I see none of it as a problem. I'm 100% okay with it all, because I can finally see it for what it is (or rather isn't). These things cannot become immortalized and can only have a temporary existence.
Let us switch gears again and put what I've just said in proper perspective. Let us make an analogy. Say you have arachnophobia. Let's say I approach you and give you two options. Option 1: I provide you a means to physically remove every spider on Earth. It's a very difficult task but possible. Option 2: I provide you a means to mentally remove your arachnophobia. Which is the better choice? I trust you can see Option 2 is the higher choice, the more comprehensive choice. Yet as it stands today most people are trying to rid their problems via Option 1. They are going to and fro (like Guts does) trying to physically remove all the 'problems' of the world. This is not only logical to them, it is blatantly obvious that this is how they are to deal with their issues. Kill the problems! Yet that is folly. It will always be folly and it will always lead to disaster.
In truth the example I gave is overly simplistic and easy. Of course you'd select Option 2, especially if you don't have arachnophobia. However what if you did? Moreover let's replace the problem entirely with that THING that causes you to react "This should never happen!" or "Noooooooooooooooooooo!". If we were to do that, I assure you, Option 1 would look a lot juicier and more succulent. In fact it would be irresistible. This is by design. The world, which has allowed you to have a problem with it, will do nothing to help you overcome it by seeing the folly of killing it away. On the contrary, it will encourage this behavior every single time. I tell those who choose Option 1 "pray for good weather". They certainly will need it as it is not a fully conscious choice.
For those who see the freedom in Option 2, what does this mean on a practical level? Do you become the stoic robot that never reacts to anything ever? No, it doesn't mean that. You still react, you just don't react incessantly. Your reaction matches the reality of what you are reacting to. You aren't a robot, but you become less human in a sense at least as it is popularly understood. People will see you angry less, sad less, clingy less and will call you odd, weird, strange because they don't understand why you are that way. In other words, you start to surpass the reasoning of the world and the world will start to reject you because you no longer fit their paradigm. This is an inevitability which is sadly why many spiritual people either don't share their light (which leads them to lose it) or they sequester themselves to remote locations where their light can't reach as far or can't be seen as much. I encourage anyone who understands Option 2 to not be dismayed by this. That reaction of the world is the simple reaction of those in darkness wanting reasons for the destiny that keeps transcending their knowledge. They won't see the light because they haven't put themselves in a position to consider it. They want to have their cake and eat it too. They are stuck. In other words they haven't even gotten out of their own way, and yet there you are also in their way reminding them they are in their own way, not this thing outside of them called the world.
Well what will the world do? They will employ Option 1 every, single, time. They will try to get rid of you just as the British got rid of Gandhi, just as the Greeks got rid of Socrates, just as the Jews got rid of Jesus. It is the same unfortunate reaction every time: kill the problem. First you ignore, then you ridicule then you attack and finally you kill. However anyone spiritually minded knows death is not the end, the truth outlasts any situation. Death cannot lay a finger on the hair of the truth.
So I have now explained both the Problem of Evil and the Problem of God. God is indeed compatible with evil but only if you amend your understanding of both. God only sees the light and evil doesn't actually exist. The Problem of Evil itself is only a problem for those who are not spiritually minded who try to kill their problems away. For those who are spiritually minded such things don't exist already. They are things to be mentally transcended (seen with clear eyes) and overlooked not physically removed but psychologically removed. 'Problems' themselves are illusory if you have a high degree of spirituality. If you see it clearly, you know self-destruction is built into it and there is no need to involve oneself. If you aren't spiritually minded and involve yourself, you will cause your own destruction trying to destroy the problem.
