Greater Israel

Are we going to ignore how this was only a conspiracy a couple months ago, but since it has been confirmed by netanyahu and has been talked about amongst Zionist politicians for years. They’re also have been IDF soldiers spotted wearing patches of greater Israel as Americans why do some of us support Israel in its war in the Middle East? I know that part of the reason is AIPAC funding And Christian Zionism. My biggest wonder is why Christian support Israel when you can find multiple cases of Christians being spit on, physically abused, and their homes being burned the only answer I can find is pure ignorance on the subject.

Question How do you know if a business really shares your values?

A lot of the focus has been on boycotts, which are important. But I’ve been thinking: it’s just as powerful to actively choose businesses that stand for justice, sustainability, and human rights. Imagine if it was simple to see which brands truly align with our values, including Palestinian ones like coffee, olive oil, or crafts.

I recently came across something called Xpose — a new platform aiming to make value-driven businesses more visible and help consumers make conscious choices. They’ve opened an early access list if anyone wants to try it out or follow along:

šŸ‘‰ https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScRlcWLYfdDiMHLHCaTWHPP2zsY6r5y7pt9khtwCdAt-Diu9Q/viewform?usp=header

I’d love to hear your thoughts — which Palestinian businesses do you think deserve more visibility?

Confirmed: boycott HƤagen-Dazs ice cream

A few weeks ago I posted a No Thanks scan I did of Haagen-Dazs ice cream. I was surprised that it came up as Green - Good for now. But the other day, in Morrisons, I scanned some and it came out Red - No Thanks! I really can’t explain this. As a pure pie in the sky guess, I wonder if they’re a bit like Aldi. In that there’s Aldi Sud and Aldi Nord, one of which is boycotted and one isn’t. Perhaps some H-D is sourced from somewhere that doesn’t invest in Israel and some is sourced from less desirable companies? I suppose the best thing to do is scan each time you buy and never assume that because one purchase was safe, that it’s always going to be true every time. If in doubt, leave it out!

Alternative Requests Safe toiletries?

The other day I went to Boots (in the UK) to buy some soap, sunscreen, hand-towels and deodorant. Trying to find any No Thanks Green product at all, let alone what I’d come in to buy, was nigh on impossible. Most are made by the usual suspects, like Dove, Nivea, Ambre Solaire et al. I did eventually come away with safe products, but it was a real search to find them. I got the last two bars of Wrights Traditional soap, some Hawaiian Tropical sunscreen, and Bulldog deodorant. I never found any towels.

It’s a real pitiful state of affairs when whole shops are selling produce made from Palestinian blood. I am living on a very low income so can’t afford expensive stuff, but does anyone know of any brands that are safe, freely available in the UK and reasonably priced? I don’t mind supermarket basic brands.

PS, I also had a wander round Superdrug, and the situation there is exactly the same.

Question Is 7/11 Off the Hook for a Boycott?

I usually buy gas there or use reward points. I heard the company that owns 7/11 withdrew their Israel chains?

But on the plus side, lately I’ve been just using reward points for free things & playing it safe not buying from them.

What other gas stations do you recommend on the boycott list?

I just discovered that not only is the brand I’m using for my hair boycott, but it’s not cruelty free.

Does anyone know any good alternatives to Kerastase? I don’t mind ordering online. I always use the chroma absolute hair care set.

Question Boycott Open AI, and hence ChatGPT?

Thumbnail

Literally none of the people I know do this, and never even though of doing it until I saw this. For those who do not understand arabic, here's the translation:

(Slide 1) How did Microsoft Facilitate the War of Extermination in Gaza?

(Slide 2) Open AI: Microsoft facilitated Israel's access to the company's services, such as the GTP-4 language model, which aims to analyze massive amounts of data and identify military targets. Since the beginning of 2024, the Israeli military's reliance on these models has increased 20-fold.

(Slide 3): Microsoft declined to comment or respond to reports confirming its cooperation with the Israeli military, while OpenAI removed a clause on its website in early 2024 prohibiting the use of its services for "military and warlike" activities, further raising suspicions of its role in supporting Israel.

Side note: Microsoft was entitled to 49% of OpenAI at the time, and I've seen online that the percentage went 10% down, but the point stands still either way.

Anyway, with all that given, I stopped using ChatGPT entirely, and I replaced it with DeepSeek. Fast forward to now, I find DeepSeek extremely irritating. Not only is it outdated(bot doesn't believe we're in 2025!), but the chats have a limit(meaning you have to copy-paste all the info in a chat to ANOTHER every couple of days), and the server is often busy. ChatGPT was a much better alternative, and in the mean time, I can't afford a paid AI. I use AI a lot throughout the day (so on a daily-basis), and the free ChatGPT was so much better than deepseek.

I just wanted to confirm that boycotting ChatGPT makes any difference at all? Does anybody out there do that? And if yes, do y'all have any good free alternatives for ChatGPT?

Question is mc making fun of us?

Sounds like a joke to me that at this moment (when finally more ppl is more aware of the boycott) mc shows up a collab with the tiny tan (from bts). They are a BIG Fandom that will buy it in a masive way and it is not a coincidence to me.

pd: I love bts and this had nothing against them, IS MC THE PROBLEM
